Are you a graphic designer or something like that?

 

No. I'm an Aerospace Engineer. I do have a minor in graphic communication and have done both model design and animation for classes though. Not something I do a lot of however.

The detail work is very tedious for this. Items on the Agenda:

Add detail to legs/waist

Add detail to Skirt

Apply alpha layer for skirt use?

Add a bit of detail to hands/ upper arms.

Add detail to charger things on his arm

Figure out what the thing on his back is. Failing that continue making it look like an emperor dragon breathing fire.

Make proper roughness map.

Finalize diffuse map.

In case you're wondering, at this point every map has been completely replaced. Only thing still in use from devs is the model.

ahh is substance painter free?

 

I don't believe so. I think they have two license, one for indie and one for pro (corporate entities).

Anyways, it's starting to pull together.

I really like the paneling on the legs. Probably going to have to do another frame just with that as its theme.

 

Worth Noting that this is decal free. All colors present are tintable. This will probably change pretty soon.
