This is the second time i am writing about this topic... Its just really annoying that loki cant use his biggest ability on high level infested, i think that radial disarm should kill any enemy who is not armed except for the big ones (ancients, bosses, greener machine gun guy,) i know it sounds overpowered but other frames got more powerful abilities for the same amount if energy.

Nope. Loki doesn't need more killing ability. He's too awesome to get another boring nuke. It should remove all ranged/special abilities. And it should be useable while in air -.- nothing is more "WTF" when you teleport into horde of MOAs with a thought "hai, im here to greet you and turn you into kungfu chickens" just to press 4, see nothing, and just stare at health going down above the text "cannot use while in air"...

Seriously, DE needs to add that to RD and tweak Decoy a bit, and Loki will be well-balanced, different and interesting frame to play.

Yeah Loki's ult is pretty lackluster. Try going solo and use your ult in the middle of some grineer, you will die since they will come charging at you. It was funny the first time i did it, 20 Grineers came at me and killed me.

If they want to make the ult good then make them lose their ranged weapons and them walk, not run, so that infested can't charge if you use your ult.

@Story4

Besides disarming enemies it also will prevent a large number of enemies from using their special abilities and will ground osprey, including fusion osprey.

It is one of the best abilities in Tower III missions because of what it can do.

Radial Disarm's only real pitfall is against Infested.

Making it an automatic kill is the wrong way to go about it. If it can't rip the weapon out of their hand, it should at least give them a big stun, but kill or even damage? Na.

Radial disarm will actually damage/kill chargers, remove the arms from runners and leapers (not that it does anything) and can stun ancients. Its a great way to keep a disrupter busy for a few seconds.

It does nothing to ancients, or at least nothing noticeable. I'd rather make it kill runners, because they are so annoying. Wasting 100 energy to kill chargers is like wasting 50 energy to reduce all crawlers speed by 50%. Sure, it does something on paper, but youll never bother using it.

@NessTV

I play with a Loki player all the time and he runs up, uses radial disarm, and will stun all of the ancients in the room. While it's not the most energy efficient thing to do it can and does stop multiple charging ancients at the same time and even can interrupt their attack animations.

I have no other frames than Loki...  And trying to stun an Ancient with RD generally results in getting brofisted. Still, generally I spam RD a lot, especially on Corpus defense, But I spam it because I like it, not because it's efficient. Especially, that it sometimes makes more problems, because meleeing enemies make more damage, and if somebody isn't expecting it, he might get simply sticked to death.

Well, they could tweak RD to make some damage... Because, it is an Ultimate Abillity after all... Why not make the abillity to cripple enemies Limbs? Like a minor stun with a movement reduction?

Like, I don't know, since it is an AOE I think it would be like this

Base Radial Damage: 600 (Just to kick a little low mobs asses)

Primary Effect: Slow and Disarm Enemies

Secondary Effect: Minor stun: 0.5 (level 1)/1.0(level 2)/1.5 (Level 3)

Radial Disarm:Casts a wave of energy that disintegrates all special devices crippling any ranged or special ability and knocking enemy down.

No need for damage, because Loki has one thing that makes him unique: his abilities are not so dependant on enemies' level than other frames' abilities. If you will add any damage to his RD, you will create a lot of players who don't get the purpose of Loki and eventually will come here and want even more damage. He doesn't need it, he needs some smart tweaks. The fact that you can't simply balance him with some damage/range graph makes him unique.

You were wrong the first time and you're still wrong now.

Honestly, it kills Chargers, and they are a threat even at high level Infested.  Especially since they tend to eat up more ammunition and get in close enough to break up positions faster than most.  Additionally, its really kind of funny to see Loki use Radial Disarm and see the infested around suddenly not have arms anymore.  It fits the trickster motiff.

Besides, Loki has great abilities and every one (with the exception of Switch Teleport) is functionally useful in most every situation.  That's something that can't be said by a few other warframes.

I think this might be an instance of us not having the full facts, because I wonder what ripping the arms off Leapers and Runners does?  Why bother adding that animation effect in if it didn't do anything?
