Interesting to see Affinity Aura removed, honestly thought it was being added in as a little gem within the Hallowed Nightmare.

Did a few rounds, enjoying the interesting fights. Annoyed how all the caches just kept giving credits, but eh, the difficulty to the mission kept it interesting.

A bit lame to see RNJesus granted players Legendary Cores for luck/farming but I suppose a bit of that is salt I didn't find one before heading off to work :P

It's just a core afterall. Find it funny people would overpay for something meant to be spent like a quarter into a gumball.

Not like an Affinity Amp is needed when you have that x2 booster in the store and not have to waste a slot for it~

Im gonna be making a page dedicated to bugs I find, ill post a link here once everything is set up.

I just hope DE starts fixing the current bugs to create a better experience for everyone, instead of releasing new stuff to cover up their mistakes.

For the record, Affinity Amp was almost totally useless anyway.  Its removal is hardly an issue; the legendary cores rewarded for getting a useless mod completely unintentionally, by luck, is what we should be upset about.

It's just a core afterall. Find it funny people would overpay for something meant to be spent like a quarter into a gumball.

That core saves you hundreds of R5 fusion cores and millions of credits; it instantly maxes out any mod, including Primed mods, with no credit cost whatsoever. I don't see why people would pay thousands of plat for it but certainly several hundred.

It not unfair throught  bug ,those hwo use exploit first was rewarded. So, I understand that I can use any future error in game to being redwarded? It unfair esspecialy that most of people never get chance to earn Legendary Core. i see that you not understand DE. You also just ruin price of Legendary core now becouse, some player get 12-30 those mods = 12-30 Legendary Core. Congratulation for no-checking future consequences.

Can you people do nothing but complain? seriously the devs do what they feel is necessary nothing more nothing less they're not rewarding people for exploiting glitches as much as taking away something that was accidentally released and apologizing by dishing out what they believe to be equivalent compensation...  seriously lay off and let them do what they do best and enjoy the ride... this is a wonderful game that my wife and I play together on a semi-daily basis and frankly I love every hotfix and update I have been here for THANK YOU DE!!!!

Replacing a useless mod with the most valuable mod in the game is pretty obviously not an equivalent trade, never mind the circumstances.  This clearly wasn't thought out, and it's our role as testers to send DE the proper signals.

In all seriousness, this is a bad way of compensating players for getting such a useless mod (affinity amp), randomly. You could just give out some other mod or a bunch of cores, but you give them Legendary cores.

The steel charge fiasco (not sure if this is the proper word but w/e) was understandable, due to some players (me included) that maxed them (10 ranks), then gets reverted to 5 ranks, but this current compensation is just wrong.

  • Removed Affinity Amp Auras from inventories. This unreleased mod was either acquired through Transmutation years ago, or the most recent Tactical Alert.
  • Legendary Cores have been distributed to all players that have had the Affinity Amp Aura removed from their inventory.

I didn't get my cores when you messed up the mission reward for the Proxy Rebellion Tactical Alert. Player support and DE staff refused to help me out in my case. You said you don't compensate players that get incorrect item drops because of bugs within the game. And now you're handing out Legendary Cores like it's free candy for no apparent reason.

When I think of the term "game developer" I imagine things like "moving forward", "enriching" and "improving". But the more I think about it the more you make the de- prefix sound like its more common usage for "removal" or "reduction". The year 2015 is a mixed bag when it comes to game changes, but bad decisions are taking over recently, this one feels like the worst. Your hypocrisy and unreasonably stupid decisions like this one is what drives players like me away from an otherwise decent game.

Partially agree. Speaking for myself, I've liked most of the changes this year. They kept the game interesting for me.

What really bugs me though is that the posts of people rightfully complaining about this unfair compensation are misteriously dissapearing (mine was one). Someone doesn't seem to like when we actually have a good reason to complain about... Admit it DE, the steel charge compensation was fine, but this isn't.

Following this compensation's logic, DE would have to give a Legendary core per mission failed because of a bug to each player. Obviously an exageration which is not going to happen, I know, but yet again, here we are: DE giving free Legendary cores to people who don't deserve it.

I understand they are the developers and in the end they can do whatever they please for whatever reason they see fit, but still, please have at least some consistency.

Is it that hard to understand why so many people are pissed about this? It's not that most people didn't get a legendary core. It's because you're giving some players arguably the best mod ever for having a mod that was never meant to be released in the first place. People that got it, have had it for however much time they have, and they've used it all they wanted until now, and thus, have taken advantage of it. Why do they get a compensation whereas people that have never had such oportunity don't?

For analogy's sake: People took a test, some people cheated and you decide to declare that test void for all after knowing, but afterwards you give the people who cheated 5 out of 10 points extra for the next test. How is that not going to make people angry? Except obviously the people who got those extra 5 points...

And sure, I didn't get a legendary core, but as you may guess, that's not the reason of my post. Yes, they are a great thing to have, but also part of the game is to farm for cores so you can rank up your mods where you want them to be. There's only one simple thing I'm asking right now for:

DE, admit that this compensation was just wrong.

Oh wow, there were 20+ pages when I checked this thread the day before... Now there's 7?...

Either DE is pruning back some of the backlash to make it seem not as bad or I'm going senile. Well, back to not playing Warframe. I have... stuff... to... Ok, I have absolutely nothing better to do... Not one thing...

Just sitting here... Chewing on my thumb...

I got Shell Rush and

1) I can equip it on every archwing gun

2) Even tho it's 50% at max rank, I'm only getting a 33% reduction to charge rate.

Hahahaha!

Because DE & Maths... Hahahahaha

Like the Accuracy, let's say 100%, if you use Heavy Caliber (-55%) you should be having 45% yet it generaly finishes under the 20%, NO ONE KNOW WHY...

Pff that's just ridiculous.

Let's say you have a car that goes 60mph. It will take this car roughly 1 minute to drive a mile. Now, take this same car an increase its speed by roughly 50%. It moves at 90mph. How long will it take for it to drive a mile? Answer? 40 seconds.

Charge rates are the same way. You normally get a set amount of charge (distance) in a given time. But a 50% increase in that value will only reduce the charge time for a set amount to about 66.66% of the original value. They round this so it shows up as 0.67. The math is solid.

As for the accuracy thing... Yeah... That's just a mess. Iunno what to tell you. If a weapon was 100% accurate then -55% would still be 100% accurate. A divergence of 0 degrees +55% is still 0 degrees. The accuracy stats are about as accurate as the Atomos. They're not... If DE actually told us the accuracy as an angular value where the lower the number was the better instead of an obscure percentage then yeah, these numbers might mean something... Point in case, the Warframe Wiki doesn't even bother listing accuracy on weapons. The value is that meaningless.
