KalecAmagosh
This is not an MMO where combat is slow and tedious. Vital information should be easily visible. For example in Blacklight Retribution, ammo is shown around the reticle. This game doesn't need amo there, but: I suggest that Life and shield be on the left side of the reticle while energy and stamina on the right. Thus you can always see where you stand without losign focus. Not necessary by any means, but it would tremendously increase the quality of life. Raejin99
I have a feeling that would be a bit too much info to shove in the center of the screen near your reticle, but I do agree the UI should be easier to read. My suggestion would be to have everything at the bottom of the screen in the center using a very simple layout. Health/shields would be semi-circular arcs, where the shield arc sits halfway on top of the health arc, allowing you to see both without taking up too much room. Inside the arc would be a smaller arc representing stamina, while in the center of all the arcs is your current ammo/weapon information. It would be simple, quick and easy to read, without involving too much clutter on the screen.
nzzero
How about we make this a toggle in the menu? I would like my shields and health to be displayed around the reticle. +
KalecAmagosh
While I agree ti might be too much for "some" people. But generally I have noticed I enjoy myself best in games with intellignet UI rather than "sexy" ui. Agreed, there are a lot of bad UI(s) that cram way too much in critical space, but you can make the reticle way better to fit with this: Example: Reticle in the middle, you have a circle around the reticle. Inside the reticle you have either a circle or small lines that display your curent clip (so you know when to reload) The actual circle is your health. To the exterior right you have half a circle (stamina) and to the left (or other way around) shield. Basically all this changes is make your two 1/4 (ths) of a circle we now have into a full circle, add another 2 x (1/2) circles (not much clutter) and some small lines / dotts inside the reticle. That may sound cluttered, but you still have the reticle in the mid, easy to point and offers almost everything you need right there in the middle of the screen. Probta
I like the way it's now, is clean to me. But i approve your idea, they could make this optional, customizable in options, to the players.

AminoaCow
I agree the current shield/life/energy/stamina indicators are not so visible. I'm barely able to watch the numbers changing when I'm in battle. Personally, I would like to have them at the mid bottom edge.
Sherbniz
For example in Blacklight Retribution, ammo is shown around the reticle. This was the first thing I disabled when I started to play Blacklight. And it reduced the UI clutter, visibility and usefulness of the crosshair by a lot. But yeah, if people want it... sure But please make it toggleable, otherwise I'll be sad... :
