inkwhiz
I just loaded that normal map that came in mags' archive and a very noticeable seam instantly appeared on Mags neck. If i make a new normal map and load that into Tennogen will the same thing happen?
EmpressKitsune
Nope. If its the normal map then its just a rendering problem, move the camera. Making a mag skin?
inkwhiz
That I am Mandal0rian, I decided a good start would be to clean up the tint masks and go from their. While doing that I came across parts where the uvw cordinates are squashed or stretched and parts where seems don't line up. I wont deny they made the best possible use of the texture space but i am starting to think in the case of body textures, it means that they packed too many UV islands or sections into single texture map. I will admit that I did not see these things during all that time actually playing using the warframe mag, so it may not be worth bothering about to a lot of people but at least now i have a good starting point.
