Kalva
When it comes to the hacking minigame, I always have trouble remembering which way left and right click rotate the pieces. I would suggest changing the cursor to help the player quickly recall and realize how the pieces will turn. A dot with two rounded arrows on the outside would do this, or simply two rounded arrow to the lower right of a normal cursary arrow. I created a quick mock up of the more 'target' type cursor I described first. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8040362/Sprite%20attempts%20for%20others/Cursor%20example.png I'm sure the other idea is easy to imagine, and I'm personally not sure if those arrows even point the way the pieces rotate, it's simply a quick example to clarify my idea. Murasume
for some reason a idea popped into my head~ thinking bout how to solve these puzzles~ instead of pointing and clicking the HEX's~ why not change the rotation options to the num pad~ each HEX is designated to one number of the num pad~ and pressing the designated number rotates the HEX~ for people who use controllers though might have a different method~ like using the d-pad as an option instead of grabbing the mouse when hacking~ I personaly use both keyboard and controller so I've had first hand experience~ of me fumbling to my mouse and accidentally clicking the wrong Hex and rotating them wrong~ anyways that's my idea of the hacking puzzle changed method~
direcyphre
Or maybe just click and dragging to rotate. Might be faster and a little more intuitive for some. I know I get the directions mixed up all the time.
