(?) ALERT MISSIONS REWARDS NEED CHANGES!

Why the frag are (?) Alert missions that give random reward sooooo rare? And everytime there is an alert mission it is almost for sure just some credits reward which isn't even worth doing.

Rewards from ALL ALERT MISSIONS need to be more useful! ALL ALERT MISSIONS NEED TO BE WORTH DOING!

Because not everyone have the luxury to be online 24/7 and wait for that moment an alert mission comes up with the blueprint they want. (Namely Orokin Reactor and Catalyst)

Either make it so blueprints and artifacts drop from other missions as well or make sure ALL ALERT MISSIONS HAVE A (?) reward attached to them!

This is really &!$$ing me off. I can never seem to get on an alert mission with a (?) reward on it because of poor timing and the fact that these mission are only up for less than an hour and it could be from a different time zone.

If blueprints and artifacts ONLY drop from alert missions with a (?) mark on it, then what is the point of doing the highest level missions on pluto with only credits as rewards? Everyone will just be online and camp the game in the menu waiting for an alert mission with a (?) on it.

I have many weapons above level 15 and my warframe is at level 30 and yet I have yet to find a single orokin reactor/catalyst to upgrade them. Why are these blueprints and artifacts so unattainable?! Can we not get them from the highest level boss missions on pluto? Is there no point on doing anything aside from waiting for (?) alert missions at the end game?

If you haven't joined the steam group and set your phone to receive steam alerts to wake you up with a moshed together alert-tone of Lotus saying "Something's wrong-Tenno-exterminate all life" at maximum volume next to you as you sleep, then you're a dirty console peasant.

You see.. this is the problem. I don't think many people will agree with this concept. This isn't normal at all.

There are many people that can't be on the ready 24/7 at the sound of an alarm boot up computer log on warframe and play that (?) alert mission.

It should be made that everyone has a fair chance to get the blueprints and artifacts regardless of their play timing. This (?) stuff is like forcing players to do these unnecessary stuff... not actually playing the game but just... waiting for that (?) alert notification alarms in their real life.

I don't even understand how is this concept viable in any game at all. Disappoint.

You turn your computer off? You know your hard drives will last longer if you leave your PC on, right? (if they're HDD's and not SSD's) Also in EVE you never had a moment off, you were on-call for fleet ops or defense ops and that game is doing quite well.

I have heard of EVE.. But then.. why would anyone want to play a game like that? It is like living a second life on the computer despite having enough troubles in your real life already. I heard about how stressful EVE game can be. It is like playing online politics? +____+..

But yeah.. I mean.. this isn't EVE Online. This game is instance/room based. Why must we have such concepts here? I don't think I am being selfish as I know there will be many people that will understand this as soon as they get far enough into the game to realize all the good rewards/artifacts/blue prints are only dropped from (?) alert missions.. and the fact that you have to be on some kind of 24/7 standby in real life to get a shot on getting the good items.

This is concept is just a penalty to anyone that can't be on 24/7 standby in real life.. But don't get me wrong..

My overall impression of this game thus far has been absolutely, fantastically and brilliantly awesome. I even thought of purchasing the founder's program to support the game developers. But as soon as I realize the whole concept behind the (?) alert missions I was disgustingly put off by it.

Seriously. Come on I mean. I don't even know the word to describe this. I was so happy with this game singing all high and mighty about it and now I found this "loop hole" in the whole thing and it really backfires on me.

This is really a design flaw in the game. To have all the artifacts/blueprints in the game... The so called "End-game" content to be on some type of random (?) notification alert generator standby in your real life. Come on, we need to talk sense here.

Well I think the (?) Alerts need to stay close to what they currently are. But they need to make the standard alert missions more useful. They need to rework the economy I don't play that often and I'm bloody rich in this game with nothing really to spend my in game currency on.

Also note.

1. You get a lot if not all of the game for nothing.

2. This is still early beta. Things will change and from what I have seen Digital Extremes is listening.

3. They have to make money. This is a free to play game not a free as in beer game. Digital Extremes needs to make money off of it.

4. You still have your daily login bonus witch has a chance of dropping almost anything in the game.

It's really too early to judge this game. Its beta a time for testing critiquing revising and adding content but not judging. And if you're getting upset just remember first and foremost its BETA if you don't have the temperament for it than just don't.

"This is concept is just a penalty to anyone that can't be on 24/7 standby in real life."

The game is free there is zero loss in playing it so how are you being penalized. I play very few (?) Alert missions and don't feel penalized or cheated because I was doing something else with my time like working going out or watching a movie.

I will give it to you the game still needs work, but don't expect them to satisfy everyone in every way.

If this reads as a little rude its not intended. One thing I have learned that has saved me a lot of grief, as a computer tech is always charge something up front, even if its just $1. For some reason if you do something for free people either expect you to go above and beyond the call of duty or blame you for everything they didn't ask you to fix. But for $1 if you do your job it was worth every penny. From what I have seen this may be a good idea for betas.

He is critiquing... You're right, this is a beta. It's the timeto bring up concerns that you believe hinder people from enjoying the game... which is exactly what Ronteque is doing... Sorry to pinpoint one thing but it bothers me when people discourage other people to speak their mind in beta's using this logic.

Sorry I misplaced, "If this reads as a little rude its not intended. " it should have been at the top. Also due to the tone of most of his posts and mentioning being &!$$ed off it seemed to me more like judging than critiquing. But I understand your point. Let's just chalk it up to plain written text not always conveying inflection and emotion all that well. I can be rather blunt and never intended to discourage someone from speaking their mind.

What I feel, all the Alert missions should have a ? Reward.

Also two people SHOULD NOT get the same reward. Make it a random from a list, and show us that list.

Today I got a Plasma Sword, and I'm happy. I wanted that sword all along.

I need Orokin Catalysts tho. I've got 10 plat, and if I buy 75plat, I can get 3 cats, and with the remaining a WF slot! amazing.

I think that all alert missions should have a chance to win some blueprint in the game and leave the catalysts to the "?" ones. It's true that I'm in pain for getting only one Orokin Reactor so far (12 hours before my Ember was built ^_^ ) but what the heck, the game is free and could virtually play it for a year just to fill some gap in the spare time you have. And hopefully get some Orokin during that gap xD

Alerts:

1. Should all give a "?"

2. Shouldn't have fixed drops on the alert

That would fix a lot of issues. You could add more cool things to drop from alerts to pad them out as well, to make Orokin stuff relatively rarer.
