Well its gets long I gotta admit , but not as long as the video OP has shown us, even with the combo counter. Well that maybe due to the fact that it sometimes doesn't actually hit the enemy at all, hit boxes are kinda....yeah. not good. 7Lions Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Dont get what the big deal, who cares if his ult doesn't have a longer range than Orthos Prime, it sure as hell out scales the Orthos Prime in terms of DPS and thats all that matters when your going long and strong into a endless mission and need a frame that can face tank the hordes while protecting the squishy back liners from direct fire, all the while hammering them into the ground (or air) with his Primal Fury. He's a melee oriented frame, get used to getting up close and personal to do damage, if that ain't your style then move on to another frame. It needs the range to remain interesting. Then you should ask for making the rest of his repertory decent instead of asking to overpowering an ability, that thing is one of the cancers in the game that keeps DE nerfing everything because players can barely find helpful one ability. The rest of his kit is decent, it's just his ult is garbage compared to just using a regular melee weapon, which wouldn't restrict weapons or drain extra energy. Correct with the stab/poke/Jab/lunge The pause combo (Spinning Crash Technique)also has similar Range with the staff throw at the end However it feels like luck when that combo is pulled off as it there is no forgiveness when trying to perform pause. Primal Fury's Enlarged-Staff Ground slam animation in the spam Melee combo and Hold-Blocl combo : it would be nice if that AoE could grow with combo count from the (3m-base?) to a Jat-kittag matching 10m slam area. Also would love Staff throw to be the charge attack....maybe even throw staff like a Glaive with Channeling letting Staff Enlarge with AoE Ground knockdown, rather than just Galive-type damage explosion.
