MrWednesday
I know, i know, this is an MMO, who cares about plots and story line anyway ? But well, most of the core fans are from the plot/story line it self, especially for a heavy implements of pve like Warframe, plots and storyline are not to be ignored. And as of the test phrase right now, there are very little information about the settings of Warframe. Who are the tennos? Where do they get their armor? Why were they freezed in cryopods for centuries? Who are the the Grineer, Cronus? What are their technology? What are they doing the solar system? Where does the infection come from, do they have any inteligence? ect. The priority of the game right now is to make sure everything running smooth, but when everything settle in to place i hope the devs will put more efforts in the plot/story line. Galestorm
If possible i would like the story in a story arc format, and have a "story mode" setup in-game. I think there should be story instances that are a little more complex than normal mission where your objective isnt generic. I know this is awhile down the road but I think it would be a wise addition speaking as someone who loves to explore lore. https://forums.warfr...669-hey-people/ if you read the last sentance of the second paragraph you'll know just how much i explore lore. I know i would love to explore the history of this universe and figure out why I as a tenno, was made and why we were put to sleep for so many years, and why we are fighting a trading company like corpus, or why there are these infected humans. Firstly though I believe that you should have an explination as to who is Lotus? and why have the noble Tenno devoted themselves to her?
Trancemaster
Hello guys i figured ill make a post about this subject. The problem i find in todays games is that thay are focusing more on lore and silly rp (npcs talking to each other) this is the first game i play in a long time where we dont get interrupted by npcs and movies and stuff 24/7. And i want it to stay that way because listening to an npc for 5min talking about something you dont even care about is stupid. So i would say that you guys can have "some" rp but to some kind of limit we dont want this damn game to turn out to be like Diablo 3 or any other heavy lore game etc. because that game basicly have RP and Cutscenes 24/7 and makes the game a pain in the &#!. MrWednesday
Well i don't want any more cutscenes, rp, etc. I just want to know more about the game, more story-based missions.

I agree completely, I love lore but in a game like this I don't want is shoved down other people's thoats, I'm saying have a branch of story missions seperate from the normal missions, so people that want it can have it and people that dont can avoid it. And i dont want alot of cutscenes.
Psyclosarin
I'm fairly sure most things could be explained with an "Archive" menu that gives history on things along with more dialogue in game. Maybe even a Starcraft 1 briefing room when they get story missions implemented.

I dislike and disagree with your opinion. What's the point of shooting things, if we don't have a reason to do so? Now, if you want to skip cutscenes and dialogue (you monster), that's your prerogative, but don't take them out of the game entirely. Otherwise the game really is a meaningless grind. Also, it's still in beta, and presumably focused more on fixing the gameplay, so expect story as they reach a more final product. Now, we haven't seen a whole lot of the universe, yet, but I'm interested to see how they expand on the factions. It's only in beta, so we've only been given a tiny snippet of information, but the concept of "biological space ninja" definitely has potential (although currently the setting itself is fairly generic). Hopefully DE has a good writer or two to really expand on the themes that I imagine are present.
johncage
just have an optio to skip scenes. i accidentally pressed a button today that skipped the intro to the missions. just implement that across the board for people with short attention spans.
