Tennogen/steam Workshop Is An Excellent Way For De To Expand Upon Warframe-Specific Accessories.

Creating cosmetics takes time, a resource that is rather limited for DE. They have to make the most of that time, so creating cosmetics specific to one frame is of a lower priority than universal attachments such as armor and syandanas.

However, now DE has a resource to pull upon for work they may not have time for: Steam Workshop and Tennogen. So far this program has given the community new skins for equipment, and soon will grant us custom weapon models and helmets. However, I think this program can do so much more.

Here is a list of Warframe-specific cosmetics that can easily be sourced to the Tennogen community for new alternatives:

  • Vakyr's Bonds
  • Nekros' Mortos Binds
  • All the cloth pieces on Equinox
  • Trinity's skirt
  • Chroma's pelt (it's a separate model even when attached to him; hell, his alt helms are actually just a part of the pelt)
  • Mesa's Peacemaker pistols
  • The energy emitters on Nova's back
  • The ring weapon on the upcoming Nezha
  • Unique alternatives to the default shoulder armor of Frost/Volt/Oberon/Banshee
  • Prime alt helmets
  • That sweet scarf on Umbra Excalibur (assuming our non-prime version receives that)

Opening up these cosmetics to the Steam Workshop community could be really cool. Such things may not be worth DE's time, but there are plenty of bored Tenno with the skills to forge these items.
