Dera Vandal Precision With Heavy Caliber

Simple, with heavy caliber equipped his precision go down to 7.8, while without it, it is at 100%. Don't need to post images, it happens every time.

Its not a bug, it is the way accuracy is calculated. Accuracy is different for every weapon and the stat itself doesn't tell how accurate it is, so just disregard what it says.

Accuracy never makes any sense, and there are dozens of weapons where Heavy Caliber produces the weirdest numbers.

 

It would be nice if DE fixed this in a way that makes intuitive sense, but as is, the only way to test the accuracy is to equip the weapon and go and try it. Some weapons (Opticor for instance) don't suffer any malus because of HC. Some just spray bullets all over the place.

Well, Heavy Caliber affects the accuracy in percentage.

 

The more accurate weapon is, the more mod will affect it.

 

In case of Dera, it's 100% accurate, so it suffers a lot from the mod.

I got a max HC on Dera Vandal the loss in accuracy isn't that bad mid range but farther targets can almost dodge it.

Heavy Caliber on the Torid.  Aim right at an enemy 15 feet in front of you, 50/50 chance either shot will hit them at all.
