EvilChaosKnight
I was doing Sortie when I suddenly found out that apparently certain enemies (appeared to be disruptor ancients and ones affected by their aura) have VASTLY reduced Chaos duration on them. I don't remember seeing anything about it in any of the patch notes, so da hell is going on? Like did we really need a Nyx nerf? >_>
DeMonkey
http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Ancient_Disruptor Read tip #1 (won't let me copy it), been like this since forever.
EvilChaosKnight
Casts an aura that reduces radial and power damage received by nearby allies. All attacks from the Disruptor and its linked allies, while not dependent on Magnetic b Magnetic proc, will reduce energy relative to the damage they deal. Affected enemies will be surrounded in puple. Chaos IS NOT damage
taiiat
makes sense if you ask me. besides, Psychic Bolts won't be affected by any such reductions. or you could cast Chaos again.
EvilChaosKnight
Tests show it's like 75% duration reduction to the ancient and surrounding units. makes sense if you ask me. besides, Psychic Bolts won't be affected by any such reductions. or you could cast Chaos again. So, even more reasons to just use Loki with ID over Nyx. How wonderful.
DeMonkey
Chaos IS NOT damage Still a power though, ignore the fact it says damage, pretend it's effectiveness instead. It's not a Nyx nerf.

taiiat
Yeah, it has been like that for a long time. QFT So, even more reasons to just use Loki with ID over Nyx. How wonderful. if Disarm is the only CC Ability that you can handle using, then i suppose. people are far too Drama Queen on these Forums about Loki making 'Nyx useless'. EvilChaosKnight
if Disarm is the only CC Ability that you can handle using, then i suppose. people are far too Drama Queen on these Forums about Loki making 'Nyx useless'. Well, you sure are passive-agressive at protecting something not mentioned anywhere incl. even the damn wiki leave alone patch notes. Ad hominem when running out of arguments, eh? We have just started and you are already spent! :P Nyx was always a counter to the infested Ancient spam, and now you say it shouldn't be a thing. Instead rad proc should take her place. So either use Bolts with a random chance to do anything or ID Loki. Rad weaps do -75% so they are out of question.
taiiat
and now you say it shouldn't be a thing. no, i say it makes sense that Disruptors create this effect (which isn't a new effect either). it's easily solved in Gameplay with the high Energy abundance there is, so it mostly adds more flavor to Combat if you ask me. there isn't any argument to have. another thread created about a misconception, so not much to talk about.
