As many of you may or may not know, the last few weeks of the year is a bit of a slow time at DE (relatively speaking). Many of us are using up our untaken vacation hours before we ramp up for another year of Warframe. The support team and more continue to work like the heroes they are, and we owe them thanks for that. 

 

Before heading out for the holidays we want to thank you for all the love and support this year. We are overjoyed with all the feedback you've given us after launching Update 18 - The Second Dream. It was incredible to see all players, veterans and new, experience what we have been working towards since 2012. You have all made this an unbelievable experience for all of us, and you continue to amaze us with your continuous support. 

 

As we dim our Landing Craft and use our stockpiles of Alloy Plate to start up a comforting fire, we wish you a Happy Holiday Season… and more:

 

We wish for you to make a Wishlist of Warframe! 

 

Yes, there have been countless constructive threads posted lately, and we don't want to lose the essence of these. What resonates with you as a Wish to carry forward into 2016? What little thing, big thing, new thing would have a spot on your list? 

 

Try and be concise, pragmatic, and conscientious that everyone gets… let's say 3 Wishes (we'll mix genies and Santa).

 

 

We will be away from the office until 2016 but will be keeping an eye on everything just in case.

1: A planetary Settlement, or something immersive like that. Something that is drenched in Warframe lore. Like, a remote cave on Earth we have to make habitable, fund it's construction,as a clan. Where Grineer can't come and where Rescue targets can lay low for a while. Where we have a little place to call our own. With our stuff, items we've gathered in our time playing Warframe. Style the place the way we want it. With items we've Codex scanned.

2: Fix the broken Exterminate Spawning System. It's not spawning enemies way at the start anymore, but it's still spawning enemies in areas I have cleared. This should not be a thing. I'm sure it's aleady been reported before but this is still my third best wish.

3: Can't think of a third wish.

1 > volt rework to make him true high damage frame that can work as same as other frames on high level runs.

 

2 > Multi melee stances, maybe up to 3 for one mission? may be really cool to master, few stances focus on AOE, others focus on Single target.

 

3 > Bullpup Burst rifle [tenno-technology if possible] that focuses on critical hits.

1. Have missions that involve our ships like the liset, mantis and scimitar rather than just a thing for the loading screen.

2. Freedom of rotation in Archwing, like Freespace or many space shooters out there. I want to do flips underwater or in space, be upsidedown. Just more for this, it still doesn't feel fleshed out enough.

3. Race missions with race vehicles or parkour races. Think Mario Kart except it involves stuff in Warframe with a leaderboard for the win and losses for this mode. With there being air vehicles, I sort of expect a Tenno to have land vehicles too.

Wishlist
 

• More useful Vazarin polarities for weapons, cold damage and status chance (which is horrificly underwhelming) just aren't cutting it.  Make it so a weapon with a Vazarin polarity is viewed as someing worthwhile, not a handicap. 

• Archwing - Give us more choice in mission type and level range. It has been painful to level stuff where the only endless mission pretty much require you to be max level already or have other players carry you.

• More Archwing - Give us unique mission types, not just Archwing versions of regular missions. Things like the mobile defense being you having to escort a shuttle to a base for extraction, defend it while it loads up, and then escort it back to the base ship or relay.

• Revisit how drops work, I know that you can not eliminate RNG, but there are several ways to make the grind more enjoyable. Maybe not for equipment drops, but have you ever considered a currency system for things like mods, (E.G all enemies only drop cores, but core can be used to not only level mods but to purchase them as well)

• Revisit our tenno talking in missions, rather than having them just random phrases barely related to the mission, have them rather than lotus make annoucements about life support, team members in need of being revived, etc.

• Add more fuctionality to the dojo, even if it's just cosmetics, give folks who have built large interesting dojos more reasons than trading and research to visit them.

and most importantly

• Keep doing the great job that you folks have been doing.

1) Better clan and dojo system. This is imo much needed, though neglected and forgotten by most players. The dojo building system is so clunky and time consuming. Doesn't feel rewarding. https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/436161-dojo-ideas-suggestions-changes-megathread/

And about clan, the cosr for sigil and the restriction, a abit too much imo.

2) Something with archwing. Love this mech feeling, just well.. it doesn't feel well intergrated with the rest of the game.

3) More sets like the Rhino palatine set. Lets really change the look on our frames.. maybe even gender.

thanks to all of the DE Staff for all the hard work they put into the game, the second dream quest was one of the best I've seen in any game so far.

1. Stealth rework, we're supposed to be space ninjas but there's not much stealth

2. syndicate expansion such as quest,melees,and more mods and cosmetics (possibly even for the operator)

3. more options and freedom with the operator such as being able to walk around with them in the orbiter and relays (anywhere other in a mission for 10 secs then they leave)as well as more customizations for them

I'd like to see all of the previous prime accessories released in a big accessories pack like i had originally told rebecca via pm about, not in some pack with a vaulted frame like you did with frost. I'd also like to see the event mods come back so we have another chance to get them, 300-500p for a single mod is just stupid. Last thing i'd like to see is the ability to use augment mods in the exilus slot for warframes. Oh and before i forget, add some melee weapons for the syndicates.

1: Account migration to consoles (Steve, Steve, Steve, you mentioned account migration three times this year, I have been waiting patiently)

2: More Archwing content (mods, mission modes, archwings, arch-melee and guns, secondaries(?), augment mods)

3: Volt's Overload rework (for the love of Lotus don't touch his other three abilities, they're fine as they are. I love Volt :D)

3. Dream Frame. By this I mean, some form of method of choosing a frame, and fitting the abilities I like from the pool of abilities I have. Not meaning having 4 sets of ults, but for 1st ability being able to choose from all 1st abils, and so on. Its a rough Idea that needs polishing, but I think you get the idea :)

1: More quests like the Second Dream, I would love to see more development added to Warframe's story that is finally beginning to take shape and go somewhere.

 

2: Ember Premium Skin, give the chicken frame something that doesn't look like a chicken. Let her look like a Phoenix for once.

 

3: More endgame content. Preferably in the form of new areas that are ruled by the Sentient faction entirely, so rather than having to go to the moon and fight Corpus and Grineer for an occasional fight with 2-4 Sentients, I can have an intense mission where Sentients are coming at me much more frequently, a tough fight around every corner. Give us a Sentient boss along with it.

1. Melee blocking prevents status effects from blocked attacks

 

2. Melee blocking blocks 100% damage from the front, is now a time based system with the block percentage now raising the default block time (Say, 10 - 15 seconds).

 

3. Old melee stances get new combos

 

4. Beam sword charge attack for Exalted Blade.

 

5. Finishers moved to "use" key

 

6. Rework placeholder graphics (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, ANCIENT HOOKSHOT ATTACK)

 

7. MAG - Bullet attractor needs a rework.

DE does an incredible job with the ~170 members they have, most players should be thankful to have such a game that they play and/or enjoy playing for free. But, I digress.

 

My personal wishlist for the game would probably go along the lines of:

 

A) Increase translations of the game, preferably with voice-over*. Yes, voice-overs are expensive, I know, and you have languages like French for example, where French in Europe is much different than that in Québec (and the rest of franco-canada) without even touching the subject of accents.

 

* Small anecdote, I'd love for players to have control over their chat settings. Currently, if player A has client in English and player B has it in German, the two players will not load into the same relays, region chat, recruiting chat, and trading chat. Obviously, it makes sense for them to be segregated, but there could either be a Global chat or maybe being able to give the client the ability to change what 'channels' their player can use (of course, restricted by system limitations). Also, additional language support for different inputs would be nice. The latter is the principle reason I change my client's language depending on which friends I'm playing with.

 

B) Elimination of places such as Ceres (Draco) that make levelling and "capping" daily Focus 'a joke'. While a certain part of the community exploits it (even after a nerf), not every player has that ability. One thing DE has always prided itself on is about catering to casual players as well as dedicated players, so making the reward system more balanced is something I'd like to see. 

 

C) Expansion of Archwing into regular missions (similar to how the Jordas Verdict raid) to have activity for Warframes and Archwings being dependant on each other completing objectives during a mission. The easiest example would be in a survival when the Lotus says 'distract the enemy while a lone Tenno operative...does something' (I can't remember the exact wording :P ).

 

An additional "wish" I'm justifying by saying there are 3 ports (PC, PS4, and XB1) but there's also the Nexus App...

 

D) I'd personally love the Nexus App more integrated into the game. It's currently on soft launch and v4,1,0,3 and has its limitations (as well as bugs, but those will naturally be fixed over time), but I'd love to be able to go on my Alliance or Clan chat from the app.

1) Please, in the name of love, god and worldwide peace, PUT IN THE STORE THAT GODDAMN FORMA SHEMATIC, PLEASE!

2) I really love explosives in the game. Why some machinegun(Soma/-Prime) does more damage than 2 Kg explosive charge from a Penta Gun? Or from Ogris GL? Maybe developers will get it up in next year? I hope this will be. I love fireworks. <3

3) Please again, put in the store Forma Shematic...
