Best Melee For Loki Prime?

For a melee weapon, I want something that's good for traveling fast, like boosting me forward.

Any heavy weapon with Tempo Royal can do what you want. I personally used the Scindo Prime, but scindo would work well if you are unable to get the prime right away.

imo, if you can get the new sword stance, then single swords are good to go, they have really fast finnishers, and the new combo is not only good for clearing lines of mobs, but its also quiet fast with useful knockdown combos

The Blind Justice stance for Nikanas has a forward dash. Else, Tempo Royale on a heavy weapon.

 

I'm not sure what "boosting you forward" has to do with Loki Prime though.

Coptering was removed with the introduction of melee2.0, if that is what you are asking for.

Polearms and Staffs have an aerial attack which gives you a lot of momentum.

Both polearm stances have combos that propel you forward. One of them has a single jump forward, but doesn't break usual movement with attacks, the other one has a serie of long leaps, however first attack stops you from running.
