J...
Greetings Everytime I launch my client it resets my volume to the max, changes my resolution, turns subtitles off and turns tutorials back on. It also gives me the Lotus introduction to the universe EVERY single TIME. Also as mentioned on previous posts my gtx560 ti is grayed out of the physX option. Ced23Ric
What OS are you using, out of curiosity? Because this sounds like the client not having permissions to store files.
[DE]Glen
I bet the problem is your alias has periods in it that resemble a directory name. Please open a support ticket and we'll sort you out -- we'll probably have to change your alias.
[DE]Glen
Confirmed that's what is happening -- the trailing periods are causing problems
Ced23Ric
Out of curiosity, wouldn't it be possible to either escape these characters or make them illegal upon registration?
J...
Thank you both for the swift response and now to answer your questions. I am using 64bit Windows 7 Pro. And indeed the dots in my name will be the problem most likely. I'll make a support ticket as soon as possible.

J...
I'm aware that this would have been an easy fix with support but I didn't feel like pestering the support fellas yet because doing support is a ungrateful job and it's hard enough without my silly problem. Either way thank you for your assistance and have a pleasant day. Edited January 21, 2013 by J...
