Higher Performance On High Settings

Hello guys, i just decided to try to max out the game and it turns out that on max settings with dx10 and dx11 turned on in the launcher my game runs even better than everything on low with both of those turned off. I was playing on minimum settings with 20-25 fps in solo missions and 7-15 in coop . After turning everything on maximum the game runs way better at 55 fps in solo and 20-40 in coop with some rare drops under 20 which is really odd to me.

My pc is around 7 years old and those are the specs

 

AMD Radeon r7 200  2gb ddr3

2gb ram

Processor AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ 2.61 GHz

Windows 10 Pro 32 bit

 

Can someone tell me what could be the reason for such difference between max and low settings ?

Now, this was explained to me before, and I forgot, and now I'm writing this...... 

It has something to do with something, I'm shure of it!

 

 

EDIT: It might be that on low settings multicore rendering was turned off or something. As before, I have no clue.

EDIT2: Apparently system allows more power to vidocaard on higher settings. So may be it.

 

P.S. Still waiting for a pro to explai this.

I think that it's a matter of DirectX, have you tried running on low settings with both of them turned on?
