Madurai Ips Passives

Ill start to invest in a second school ( first was Zenurik) and was thinking about Madurai. How good are the IPS passives?

At max rank they are only 30% bonuses. Not really worth it imo. I would invest in naramon next if I were you.

I've been told the damage passives affect direct damage abilities but it's over 2 million focus xp to max the passives. or was that with the cooldown skill? 

 

I am curious on how it would affect Mag's shield polarize against void enemies.

It would add 90% more explosion damage as IPS. But polarize only causes damage to units around a unit that has a shield to explode.

Yes, and to pure elemental weapons. It works closer to elemental mods than to IPS mods. It adds x% damage based on total base damage of the weapon/power.

Sadly, it doesn't affect Trinity's Link damage reflection.
