What Happened To Volt's Shield

I remember volt's shield extending the range of beam based weapons, it does not seem to be doing that for my amphrex anymore. Has this been changed/nerfed? Has there been any other changes, as Volt's shield also has many other interactions with different types of weapons? I have not played WF for a really long time, I apologize if this was a well known change.

I believe all interactions between weapons and his shield have been removed not sure.

it adds around 10% range so now you need MULTIPLE shields. Used to add around 70m for anything.

It never blocked missiles, or rather it never stopped the splash damage from them exploding hurting you if you stand too close. If the physical missile is passing through the shield, than that sounds like a bug.

it also used to stack indefinatly this was nerfed a while ago so now you can get a max of 3x damage from shields

I recall it changed but that DEs comment was that they needed to review the interaction with beam weapons and range, so the current version probably isn't final.

It blocks the missles but not the explosion. the missles explode on impact to the shield. So standing farther from the shield should solve your problem.

 

I believe they changed the range added for the shield. So your amprex attacks farther, but its not noticeably farther.
