Sentient Drone Uranus Scan Help

so im running uranus boss with my gf and my 2 best friends that havent played warframe  in ayear. and we been running  it all nite long and not one flicker.. One is rank 5. the other is rank 8. what is up?> bad rng? missing something? When i did it for my gf I ran it with a random rank 20 like me and she got it easily and she didnt have uranus unlocked so unlocking uranus is out of the quesiton. help guys?

It's RNG. But they appear more often if you keep running the same mission.

I suggest running the Tyl Regor fight over and over

Also do not have to be the boss, just a sea lab tile set.. Finding them nearly everytime I do a survival mission on Uranus.

Consider doing fast capture run on Uranus, if you're only after the Oculyst scanning.

 

But it's pure RnG afterall.

You get a higher chance of a drone spawning when you complete Uranus nodes. Also, it doesn't spawn like an enemy so your screen will not flicker, don't wait on that.
