Can't Join My Friends

Some friends recently started playing warframe, we can go on missions together no problem, but when we try to get together in Maroo's bazaar to trade, we can't join the same instance. We are not in the same clan, also they are playing on steam and I'm not so maybe it's related to one cause or the other.

 

Not really a big issue since we can play together, but I'd like to be able to trade some parts or other with them XD

 

Maybe I should post something to the help desk, but I wanted to know if someone had the same issue.

Yeah... that's an issue.
But: Why don't you invite your friends in your dojo? And vice versa...

I mean, you don't need Maroo in order to trade...

Relays are region-based instances, you all need to set yourselves to the same in-game region to enter the same relays.

Maroo's bazaar works like relays, there are serval versions of it running at the same time. If you want to trade with your friends you can better invite them over to your clan dojo and trade with them at the trading post

yeah, problem is, i haven't found a trading post in the dojo and i'm the only member still playing but without the power to build new things, not much I can do about it. I just want to finish the research available before leaving it XD

Edit : but if we aren't in the same region, why can we go on mission/alert/void instances together? wouldn't we have the same problem? And if I change region, will I still be able to go to my clan dojo? Won't I loose my progress so far?

Automatic matchmaking is what's region-specific, not the missions themselves.

 

Region doesn't affect dojo or save data or anything.  Just automatic matchmaking, chat channels, and relays.
