Just Returned After Departing At Melee 2.0, I've Got Some Questions

The big one is that I used to play on PC and am switching to PS4. Does my gear switch over, or do I have to restart. Secondly, is Iron Skin still ....... Iron Skin. (Please say yes)

And finally does anyone have a condensed version of what's new? I can look up new frames and such but at this point the updates have piled up to where they look like The Odyssey from high school.

You have to restart, or you could wait for a possible account migration.

Edit since I missed Iron Skin, Iron Skin is still powerful yes, best results are achieved by using Ironclad Charge (augment) prior to Iron Skin.
