Excalibur Basic Stat Dos And Don'ts?

Ppl tell me "Duration doesn't matter" "Duration matters." "You don't need much power strength." "Equip every power strength mod you have." "Don't go negative range." "Range on Excal is useless."

Can someone point me to the optimal stat "green areas" like "its ok to have range here% through there%" or something?

Way too confusing and all my play testing isn't accurate enough because I don't have access to the Simulacrum yet

It all depends on how you play him.

 

Slash dash is affected by Damage and Range

 

Radial Blind is affected by Duration and Range

 

Radial Javelin is affected by Damage and Range

 

Exalted Blade is affected by Duration, Range, and has an energy drain affected by efficiency and duration.

 

I run an all around build using the basic warframe mods, intensify, stretch, and continuity.

It all depends on how you play him.

 

 

I like a + duration and efficiency build, it allows me to use exalted blade almost all the time, but some people don't want to go melee all the time, some people enjoy blinding everything, some enjoy spamming 3, it's all personal preference.

I tried an RJ build and it doesn't seem that great. Its a strength/range build right?

For RJ yea strength/range is the big part, but if you can squeeze in some energy efficiency or at least a Flow mod that would help increase # of casts before you run empty.
