0 Endrance
Rakta Hands down. No argument. Damage dealt to: Corrupted Heavy Gunner lvl 100 full armor Dread - 500 Paris Prime - 1.500 Rakta Cernos - 2.400 Corrupted Heavy Gunner lvl 100 no armor Dread - 12.000 Paris Prime - 8.700 Rakta Cernos - 16.000 Build for Dread Heavy Caliber/Serration/Vital Sense/Point Strike/Vile Aceleration/Split Chamber/Infected Clip/Fanged Fusillade Build for Paris Heavy Caliber/Serration/Vital Sense/Point Strike/Vile Aceleration/Split Chamber/Infected Clip/Stormbringer Build for Rakta Heavy Caliber/Serration/Vital Sense/Point Strike/Split Chamber/Infected Clip/Stormbringer/Crash Course TL:DR The only time Paris and/or Dread could deal more damage than Rakta Cernos is, during a RED Critical Headshot. Rakta also shoot faster than either other bow with vile aceleration. So you save 1 slot extra for damage. And the bow ALREADY has more damage. Not to mention the Syndicate Proc. Forgot to mention, Rakta Cernos is Impact, the "S#&$ty" damage type... yeah right. Edited January 9, 2016 by Endrance
0 Enno69
The three high-end bows are actually fairly balanced. Dread does the most raw damage with 100% crit chance and 25% red crit chance ; Rakta focused more on utility with higher base damage, much faster charge rate and a syndicate effect, but it will not crit 100% of the time (not without that bad Crit delay mod). Paris doesn't deal as much damage as the Dread nor does it have the Cerno's special properties, but it inflicts puncture and does crit 100% with a small chance for red. 0 jonnin
puncture tends to be better in practice at higher levels.
0 leocww
Dread : Mainly Slash Damage, have Red Crit potential, good for killing human flesh enemy Rakta Cernos : Mainly Impact Damage, have very good DPS and syndicate viral proc, good for killing corpus Paris Prime : Mainly Puncture Damage, also have Red Crit potential, good for killing armored enemy As a bow lover owning all the 3 bows, I'd say each of them did good damage in their category. Choice of bow depends on situations : Dread if 4 CP / Rakta for DPS / PP against armor. Why not have all while choosing them? But if you can only choose 1 out of 3 (and given enough MR), I'd say Dread or Rakta Cernos.
0 OniGanon
Do you care about Stealth? If not: Rakta Cernos. Else... Do you often play in organised groups with 4xCP? If not: Paris Prime Else: Dread
