Mission Automatically Starts When In Menu.

I was afw in the game menus, tabbed out doing wikia in another window. After 20 mins or so I hear sound effects. Then I find myself in game in a defense mission. But what is worse is by the looks of it I have been afk longer in game, because I can see in the log that people disconnected. Only reason I heard noise is probably due to a Loki moved me out.

 

This is really annoying.

 

I do not know how this happened, but looking in the chat logs I can see two people from my friend list disconnecting. So looking over the invite system is a good place to start.

 

And I bet that a lot of the complaints about afk people in defense missions is due to this.

You were probably in the planetary system mission screen, somone joined your session and started a mission.

Or you had a mission selected where noone was playing and someone joined your session by selecting the same mission.

Since I am not 100% sure I cannot deny it. But I am going to try and verify it.

 

edit: I went through the recent player list and asked and there was a guy who said he joined my lobby and vote started. My bad.

 

If I leave it on solo the same mistake will probably not happen again.
