Bast Strategy For Solo Excavation

Do I stick to one excavator until it gets destroyed? Or should I get as many excavators running as possible?

Use Frost then cast snow globes on each of the extractors. If you can manage protecting all of them I say activate all the ones you can handle.

If low level = ember built for efficiency + strength + some range (WoF-based) or maim equinox

If high level = disarm loki, guard the excavators properly, personal preference is viral + electric lacera

 

If low level = can probably do 2-3 excavators at a time (dependent on setup)

If high level = stick to one

if u playing solo that mod i advice u do 1by1  to prevent get  swarmed....frost is good for that but i hate frost so i use nyx with max range chaos build....

All depends on the level of enemies.  At lower to mid levels I have had 3 up at once using Ember with world on fire and just quickly jumping between excavators to keep the enemies off them.  

At higher levels go with frost and just do one at a time.

Also if trying to farm cryotic run frost and go into low level excavation and run as long as you can, have made it to around 3k without too many issues bringing hard hitting weapons, sancti tigris, etc.
