Aligyon
Seing that there aren't any specified perks on the railgun walker, I have noticed that the bullets of the royal blue Walkers goes trough walls and the bullet will still damege the player it hits him/her. Malkav
kinda makes it hard to find cover while soloing...
HelixNL
Just an idea, but if the railgun of this MOA is capable of shooting trough walls, wouldn`t it be unique and balanced if it would be possible to shoot the turret just when it`s charging to make the MOA stagger and the shot would be lost. JHarlequin
Considering that some of the time you can find cover from the railgun moa and other tiems there is no way to stop the shots except to kill it or get 4 or 5 rooms away, it's kind of a glitch. It might be nice to have some enemies have an attack that you have less cover from becaue they can penetrate, but there would have to be a limit. As an example, if you ever find a blue moa that is shooting you even though you get behind boxes, try getting out of the room. Trying running to the next room. He will try following you but will also keep shooting at you and stunning you while you run away. Even when you are a couple rooms away, there is a good chance he can still fire from the first room and still stagger you. Once it glitches, your only choice really becomes kill the blue. Aligyon
Pretty sure its intended hence "railgun" . ohhh so thaat's what a railgun is, i didden't know. :p they should have a small text under decribing it under thair names stating that it can shoot through walls, just like the Grineers' saying that they are armored Edited January 23, 2013 by Aligyon
Ced23Ric
Once it glitches, your only choice really becomes kill the blue. I thought that was your first choice anyway. Those Railgun MOAs give delicious XP.
JHarlequin
I thought that was your first choice anyway. Those Railgun MOAs give delicious XP. They do give nice xp, but if you have three or four shockwave moa's, you kind of want to run first and deal with your problems from a better position. Of course if the railgun moa gets this glitch, then you are in the worst situation possible suddenly. Hard to keep moving because he staggers you every second or two, and then the stompers start tossing you everywhere. It's rare that they could surround a player without them making a mistake, but it has happened ocasionally. Add on top that if a railgun moa in front of you has the glitch, then you want to get rid of it, but if it is in between several stomp moas or just a decent number of any type of corpus, then you pretty much don't want to expose yourself because you will get shot to death. Of course not trying to kill the railgun means you will still get shot to death if he is shooting through walls. It isn't gamebreaking, but it can really screw up a mission quickly at times when you can't take cover from attacks.
Ced23Ric
My approach is, with MOAs of any sort, (ab)using the stun Electricity gives. Eat their shields, coat them in Lightning (all of them), then take them out in order of threat level. Railguns, then Shockwaves, the regulars. Also, Shockwaves you can jump over. Not the MOAs (you can do that, too, but not what I mean), but the actual shockwave. I usually jump-shoot-roll towards the Shockwave MOAs and take them out with closeranged face shots. FirstToLast
I don't think this is intended. The time I saw it happened the MOA clearly glitched out behind a closed door and kept repeatedly firing at my last known location.
