Codesco
Is Oberon worth keeping at all? Worth the 20 plat to put in a potato? Or is he just mastery rank fodder? If he is decent what is a good build?
0 rohver
He is extremely easy to obtain so why not level him up and throw away if you don't like. He is decent in a lot of things but there are frames that do what he does better.

0 xXGodofPlayXx
He's Ok. If you like the way he is you could build him for energy efficiency so Spam Oberon
0 leocww
Oberon is good, but not great. Not to say he's fun to play with. Oberon is quite useful in low-to mid tier missions, but you would prefer other frames if in high level gameplay.
0 Kai_Shiba
Oberon is neither good, or bad in anything he does. He is a jack of all trades.
0 VKhaun
Oberon is neither good, or bad in anything he does. He is a jack of all trades. Which means he's a swiss army knife in a toolbox full of better full size tools. You won't use him for anything important unless he's all you've got. If you don't care about collecting and potatoing all the things and he's not your favorite, then yeah... I'd just master him and drop him to open the slot back up. You can always craft another one later if you change your mind since he drops constantly and everywhere. Maybe check and make sure you have an extra set of his parts BP's ready to go in case they do something weird that makes him harder to obtain. 0 Zachatoo
If you enjoy playing him, keep him. He is definetly viable for all levels of play. Heal over time, armor buff, knockdown immunity, radiation procs and decent damage makes him great within reasonable enemy levels. I would say his abilities are a tad outdated and deserve to be looked at, but he is a fantastic frame in the right hands.

0 Specter42
Oberon is an alternative to trinity, would be usefull for semi-healer in team. But it's only usefull for mid tier mission and lost it potential if use him for later mission without the right upgrade(potato and formas needed)
0 X5934-078FR1
I started to build Oberon just for carpet bombing (Hallowed Ground) infested missions, and I quite enjoy the status immunity. Joined a random squad yesterday on Earth - Coba. We had so much fun with the melee and Hallowed Ground we ended up staying 35 rounds.
