Yes. You have to obtain different school's lens, install it on some equipment and gain focus points. Unlocking the school's tree costs you 50k focus points.

Yep. Get a new Lens for another school (run some Sorties), slap it on something, earn 50k towards that other school, then unlock it in the Focus menu. Make it your primary path, and you're all set.

This. Once unlocked a "Make Primary" button or something will show up to switch which school you want to use.

Besides waiting for the fix that'll make shared Affinity also give Focus? :P

 

Full stealth runs (dat Loki) or high-level endless missions (dat Draco) are your best bets.

 

Equip a Lens on your Frame and your weapon of choice

(unless you plan to just kill everything with e.g. Bladestorm Ash),

the Affinity and thus Focus from ability kills goes to the Frame 100%

while weapon kills split the gain 50 / 50 between weapon and Frame.

 

Thus, whether you kill with abilities or the Lens'd weapon(s), no potential Focus will be lost.
