Kse_
When WF is running (minimized, alt-tabbed), I can't put the PC to sleep - WF blocks it, as noted in the Events Viewer. Any particular reason for that? No app should ever block the PC from suspending unless there's a really good reason. Examples why it shouldn't be blocked: 1) you're playing while travelling and your laptop battery is running low - the PC tries to suspend automatically. Batteries lose their longevity when they completely discharge. 2) you alt-tabbed from WF to do some work and: 2a) need to leave with the laptop, so you close the lid and throw the PC into the backpack. If it won't suspend, it'll overheat 2b) leave without the PC. It can go to sleep when not in used 3) It just takes a while to run WF and enter the password, so you can just keep it running on the tray And yes, it's a valid complaint. This is a game which is gonna be played in small chunks on breaks from work. Actually I want to commend that the games handles alt-tab so well unlike many other games. Just... Don't block Windows from doing its stuff. This is on XP SP3.

Red404
Umm with most games you want exactly that. You don't want something kicking you out of the game and you don't want your computer going to sleep or have the PC down-clock the GPU. The less that can interfere with the game the better. There's no real reason to leave the game running anyway your probably going to lose your wifi/server connection do to your laptop going to standby/hibernate and have to re-login anyway. Tip: If you need to close the game quickly just hit Alt+F4 and it will instantly kill the game. For that matter the game is fairly quick to start up and login. Edit: This may help but havent tested it myself. Open an alevated command promt "cmd as admin" and add this line. for 64bit powercfg /requestsoverride PROCESS Warframe.x64.exe System for 32bit powercfg /requestsoverride PROCESS Warframe.exe System If your interested this is the pertinent Micro$oft documentation. Skip down to "Overriding Availability Requests". http://msdn.microsof...e/gg463205.aspx Edited January 21, 2013 by Red404
