Question

EDIT:

My original request for assistance with gathering conclave stats has most graciously been taken over by others. Please see Neah's below this one for the most up to date info.

Many thanks to all of the wonderful people who have taken time out of their day to contribute to the pool of information.

Update: The Silver Grove

Additions:
Specials (Pistol):
Format : Toxin,Reload,Mag,Headshot,Fire rate,AmmoMax
Pox,37.5,1.0,4,1.0,2.08,12

Primary Weapon Changes:
Gorgon: 2.8,20.6,4.1 -> 3.0,22.5,4.5
Hind: 15.6,7.8,7.8 -> 19.2,9.6,9.6
Soma: 10.0,2.0,8.0 -> 10.5,2.1,8.4
Soma Prime: 9.7,1.9,7.8 -> 9.2,1.8,7.4
Sybaris: 23.3,22.6,22.6 -> 22.4,21.7,21.7
Vectis: 21.4,34.2,29.9 -> 15.6,25.0,21.9

Secondary Weapon Changes:
Aksomati: 14.8,3.0,11.8 -> 14.6,2.9,11.7

Ammo Changes:
Latron Wraith: 60 -> 75

Notes:

  • Pox UI stats only included for completeness, they're not useful at all. Here's how it works:
    • Pox projectile deals 2 damage to shields
    • creates an AoE Toxin cloud that ticks up to 5 times for 7 damage vs. Frost P. (130A) and 9 vs. Banshee (20A)
    • on direct hit the target continues to take damage (which, oddly, is shown on the cloud) even when moving out
    • only one cloud can be active at a time, throwing another will remove the first one, and also the DoT on an existing target
    • switching weapons doesn't destroy the cloud, though
    • no self damage
    • example
  • According to the patch notes, some explosive weapons have been buffed (Ogris, Penta, Secura Penta, Tonkor, Angstrum). This is tentatively true, but these changes are not reflected in UI damage values (test evaluation pending).
    • Also: Tonkor can now deal self damage, too.
  • Vectis got destroyed, no other way to say that:
    • Damage reduction of about -27%
    • Manually reloading after a shot doesn't speed it up anymore. (This affects PvE, too, as well as Vectis Prime with Depleted Reload in PvE)
  • Gorgon: ~9% more damage
  • Hind: ~23% more damage, quite significant
  • Soma: 4% more damage
  • Soma Prime: ~5% less damage
  • Sybaris: ~4% less damage
  • Aksomati: ~1% less damage

Thanks to Pythadragon for helping with the tests.

This is going to hurt some players on Xbox greatly lolol.

The reload speed was a bug. Now the only nerf it got was damage. Hopefully you got the fix to that too. And due to its combo on the second shot, it still 2-shots people if you hit consecutively. It makes it a very high skill weapon, and still just as powerful in the right hands.

I suspect in the hands of top players the impact the weapon will have will still be significant but the nerf will definitely hurt the vast majority of players who are not top players which makes all the difference in the landscape of conclave. I suspect I'll see a drastic decrease in Vectis users. The guys who truly are great with the weapon will remain great with them and that's something I don't expect to change. But at least now not as many people will be running around with it. lol

Update : The Index Preview Changes
Link to Google Spreadsheet
Note : This update contains far too many changes to be listed in a single forum post, hence for this update I will only be providing this Google Spreadsheet, all changes are listed within. And as always, if you find an error or missing data, feel free to let me know!

For those who are like :

Spoiler

p4TTZH5.jpg

Here's a summary from the analysis of the update.

The changes are numerous, most of them are just rounding off numbers so that their sums are integers or close to being an integer. These changes do not affect realistic damage numbers, and are just DE fine tuning the numbers, so rest easy!

While Shotguns (This includes the following secondaries as well : Brakk, Bronco Prime & Kohmaks) seems to have a large difference in damage after the patch, they are calculated based on the Pellets they fire, so in practical gameplay, nothing has changed.

In the case of Miter, the old values were based on estimates by testing it out in gameplay. The real values were not known at the time. The new values are accurate, and provided by the UI.

Rubico is a special one, while the removal of hit-count Sniper Combos should have hit it hard, it seems that Rubico's zoom bonus does provide 50% damage for it. Even though it has not received a damage buff in response to the change, it can still perform quite nicely.

For changes that do matter :

Damage type changes :
Primaries
-Simulor series now has IPS instead of Magnetic
-Ogris now has Impact in addition to Blast

Secondaries
-Castanas & Sancti Castanas now has Impact in addition to Electric
-Pox now has Puncture in addition to Toxin
-Seer now has Blast in addition to IPS, as well as an AoE (1m)
-Staticor Damage type changed from Radiation to Electric
-Talons how has Impact in addition to Blast

Damage changes :
Primaries

-Soma Prime has its damage reduced by 10%, from 18.4 to 17.0
-Stradavar has its damage increased by 25%, from 20.9 to 26.0
-Vectis has its damage increased by 25% from 62.5 to 77.2 damage, this is due to the removal of Sniper Combos in Conclave, which ensures a two-hit kill. Before this Vectis could kill any frame even with EHP bonuses in two shots due to the combo, which is why it was nerfed, to force the utilization of the combo to ensure a two-hit kill.

Secondaries
-Sicarus series got a nice buff, with a 45% increase for Sicarus & a 25% increase for Sicarus Prime.
-Regular Castanas only has a measly 43.2, half of Sancti Castanas' 82.8
-Spira damage was reduced from 110 to 88.6, quite a significant nerf. Considering that Spira only has a 2.50 fire rate to Spira Prime's 3.33, but has 82.8 damage.
-Atomos got a nice buff, from 35 to 50 heat damage, a 40% increase.
-Despair's ammo maximum is increased from 20 to 40. (Unlisted)

Melee
-Jat Kittag got a significant nerf, from 50 to 37 damage. However, it is prudent to remember that it still remains the Hammer with highest slam radius, and the fastest alongside Sibear (which was also nerfed from 41.2 to 37 damage) & Sancti Magistar.

Unlisted Change :
Akjagara spread pattern has been changed, is now a horizontal line instead of one going vertical and the other a horizontal pattern.

Spoiler

Before :

elcxqSp.jpg

After :Di4zlTk.jpg

Sniper rifles now have 2.5x headshot multipliers instead of 2x (Except Lanka).

Overall some very nice changes, but with a few outliers : Spira, Castanas and Rubico, which may need a look at.

P.S. : Currently the main google spreadsheet that lists all the weapon stats is not yet updated, but the main forum post is. Will update soon (TM)
Main Google Spreadsheet is now updated!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update : Recurring Nightmares
Dark-Split Sword (Heavy form) damage reduced from 88 to 73

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update : Recurring Dreams
Lanka damage increased from 88.2 to 131.3 (~50% increase), due to it no longer usable with Lie In Wait
Lanka now has a charge limit of 5 seconds, previously unlimited.
All Sniper rifles' headshot multipliers are now reverted to 2x from 2.5x.
