Mak_Gohae
I was playing an Infested Alert yesterday, one where you take the 4 datapacks, with three other dudes sneaking around at the start and after we got the first data thing we got noticed and the second we got noticed Lotus immediately just says, " Alright, screw it, kill everyone in the ship." She doesnt say it like that but that's how i heard it. The mission after being noticed switched to an extermination mission where the number of enemies was just 13. We were still carrying the one databank thing but it wasnt needed. It was very weird.
Ced23Ric
When the mission changes to Exterminate, all prior missions are null & void. You can drop the data packages.
direcyphre
Had that a few times, it was pretty hilarious. So far happened on a 'raid' (artifact retrieval) and sabotage missions. "Change of plans, leave nothing left alive." Like some sort of scorn ex-girlfriend going "Oh no he DI'INT!" Because this was the last time the grineer commander was left standing after insulting your mother!
Ryme
That's at least more sensible than "set ship to self destruct" and then "oh turns out there's a person we need to capture on the ship" while the self destruct timer is already ticking down. Zakalwe
That actuallys sounds pretty awesome. Exactly. There shoud defintiely be more to the script, though, they should expand on what's there and make certain aspects more urgent.
KONAir
Yeah, like if you get a time consuming mission while destruction timer is active you get random random explosions and another 5 minute counter after original destruction timer ends. Volume
Yeah, like if you get a time consuming mission while destruction timer is active you get random random explosions and another 5 minute counter after original destruction timer ends. If properly implemented it could give the game the sense of urgency it needs for the pacing to be consistently challenging and fast.

Maybe when the VIP mission gets set off you need to have a couple of Tenno reseting the self destruct by hacking into it and while they are there waves of enemies come to try to stop them while the others are running around finding the target? sambarpowder
After collecting 4 datamasses playing solo, I was told to deliver a new payload to the ship's navigation. Could only carry one at a time. I alt+f4ed.
HateDread
After collecting 4 datamasses playing solo, I was told to deliver a new payload to the ship's navigation. Could only carry one at a time. I alt+f4ed. Yepp, I tried to do this; ended up taking the wrong payload to the computer as they all said 'data core', then the one I dropped no longer had an objective marker, so I had to search manually. I gave up and just took the stack of 4 normal data cores to the extraction, and still finished.
