I missed the timeframe on the FAQ thread while i was writing my questions posts.. so i figured i'd ask here. Also, please apologize me if the things i'm asking here were already answered somewhere else, but i didn't find much related to it after searching the forum. I'm pretty sure i'll end up asking something that was already answered, so feel free to mail me a stinky-bomb because of it.

First i'd like to say that if i knew you guys were self-funded i'd have plucked down the cash for one of the founder's pack earlier. If what we have is only the tip of the iceberg like you say, then this game has a S#&$load of potential to earn the "Best F2P MMO of 2013" or even, if god wills it and you guys make it, "Best MMO of 2013" outright.

It fills a niche that hasn't been filled by other games (except Left 4 Dead and some others), it catters to those who love dungeon-crawlers (Hi Torchlight fans!), it has awesome graphics and the gameplay is already pretty slick and bug-free (compared to other closed betas.. trust me). The mentality you guys have regarding the cash-shop is also pretty novel, and given the fact that gameplay itself is so much fun i don't think people will mind grinding and slicing and sploding heads by the hundreds to get mats and blueprints to craft those platinum-only items. Murdering pixels never felt so fun.

So here goes a few questions:

1: Will we ever get the option to customize the colors of our gear (long-guns, sidearms, mellee)?

2: If yes, we will also have the option to apply skins to them like we'll apparently have with the warframes themselves?

3: The Tenno seem pretty self-disciplined and perhaps even tribal. In that vein, will we ever have the option to apply "tattoos" to our warframes?

4: Grenades?

5: Will we ever have a "stick to cover" system/button like in games such as "Mass Effect", or maybe even like the ranged classes from "Star Wars: The Old Republic"?

6: Will we ever get a "Walking" animation, just to look badass? A lot of third-person games lack this feature, and it's really a sin in my opinion. I'm not an animator, but it just seems so easy to implement and it helps us feel even more badass than we already do.

7: After everything that is planned is implemented, will we ever have a social hub where we can meet and see more than 4 people at once? I'm still fairly new to the game (have been playing for one week only), but from what i've gathered Mercury has this thing called "Orokin Tower", and it's supposed to act as the Tenno's home. If so, why not put the Foundry, Market and Arsenal option from the mission selection screen in that social hub? Maybe even go a little further and allow us to trade things with each other there.

8: Will warframes get more than 4 powers, all fitting with the warframe's specific themes, that we can then pick and choose and switch in those 4 slots?

9 (and final, i swear): Adding to the seventh question (and complemeting the second): If we get a social hub, do you consider a good idea to include an "Arena" where Tennos can go against each other in honorable duel matches? Maybe 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, etc. I know this is a PVE oriented game, but since PVP oriented games also have some PVE aspects, i believe that a PVE oriented game could have a PVP aspect as well for pvpers to get their fix and flaunt stats.

10 (I lied, sorry): Do you plan, or would consider planning to add special gadgets that consume energy/power and serve as utility equipment? Things like grapple-hooks (think Just Cause 2), deployable turrets (think Borderlands)?

I'm really sorry to have spewed such an wall of text, but there's a reason i painted my Excalibur to look like Deadpool. I've also had two cups of coffee today and i'm brazilian, so the coffee here is pretty strong.

Last but not least. THANK YOU for providing so much fun to us.

Greetings Fellow Tenno!

Great Questions mate, although let me toss this out.

To develop a enviroment hub, where players can log into and see others, can and typically does, cause problems on a scale that would make most of the current bugs seem like jokes at the water cooler. having said that, secertly, I would like to see it too! *ssshhhhh!*

Without a hub, a walk animation is not something this game really needs.

PVP is a bad idea.. between Sword Dash, Rhino Charge, and Overload, PVP wouldn't be terriably fun for anyone, but i understand why people want it, mostly just peacocking.

Take a look at your sholders some time, There is a Lotus tattoo on the sholder. :D

Weapon customization is "sort" of in.. you can color the Gorgon to match your suit if you color your suit after equiping the Gorgon, now if this color will stay in the match, is completely up to the programing. This could also be a bug that is letting us see into the future plan DE has in store for us.

Hmm, i haven't thought about PVP from that point of view, really. Having all the equipment and power balancing being done for PVE as a priority wouldn't allow PVP to work properly.

Maybe, though, if being implemented as a "honor duel" system, powers could be disabled, and/or weapon mods disabled too. Maybe even introduce a "duel only Warframe(s)" that has specific powers that are balanced for PVP. Powers that wouldn't be "deadly", since its a duel and not a deathmatch. Tennos are all brothers after all, and Samurai warriors had sparring gear on their culture. You got it right tough, its mostly peacocking :D. A way for the Tenno to keep their own skills sharp.

The walking animation suggestion really has no practical use.. i'd just love to be able to go into a Mercury mission with all rank 30 gear and walk around with Aklatos gunning everyone down, doing my best impression of badass. I'd imagine that making a walk animation wouldn't be hard, it's really just cosmetic.

And you're right on all accounts about the social hub. That's why i suggested that they only consider it after the game is launched, settled and already bringing in a steady income that would allow them to invest in something like this like a side project. Coming from EVE Online, i can say first hand that these types of things bring more issues than necessary when they are tackled ahead of things with a higher priority (Incarnagate or Monoclegate, depending on who you ask lol).

This will answer a lot of that, OP: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/5898-warframe-faq/

The cusotmisation stuff will probably be patinum purchase. Basing this on the fact that the only way to obtain the extra colours for yoru frame is by purchasing platinum, and as aesthetic stuff doesn't affect gameplay, it's absolutley perfect for the platinum store.

As for the rest, well, who knows. We're about to get a new environment, and they've mentioned they're working on competeitive mods within the framework of pve (no details on what this will be, but nothing like pvp for now), so keep your eyes out!

Yeah i saw that post. The question list i posted here i originally meant to post there. But between the time i hit the "Reply" button and the time i hit the "Post" button, DESteve locked the thread. He even answered one of the original questions that i just now seen (The cover system).

Also about the customization, i totally agree they should be platinum only. At the moment there's very little clear incentive for the players to pluck down platinum. The affinity and credit boosters, for instance, don't have a proper description.

Before buying the founder pack, with the 50 starting platinum in my pocket, i was left wondering "Is this affinity booster a one-time only consumable for a mission? Is it a permanent item?". Only when i had enough platinum to buy one did i discover that i could get 3 whole days of 100% affinity boost for only 40 platinum. That is a great deal, and it should be clear that the boost would last 3 days on the description.
