Boss drops

i guess this is why a lot of squads i join every1 goes melee spree even with lv30 weaps n warframe...to ensure the kill drops are picked up immediately...i killed an infested with melee b4 n instagot the mod....so i insta waypoint the ground where i killed him...a few seconds later i realized the blue shiny remains of a mod drop isnt where i waypointed...but something like 20m away ==. I do hope the devs see all these and consider something.

Sometimes it all picks up and there's ammo drops there and the text on the bottom just says like "Pistol ammo full" "Pistol ammo full" "Plastids" "Pistol ammo full" and you know you picked up a blueprint but it doesn't really show up there.

yea!! my friend picked up a bp drop n he was like "i didnt get any". i told him "u went to where i waypointed it already u shud have gotten it!!". he said all he saw was "ammo full"....so we finished the run..he checked foundry...n tada its there...so annoying. A log of the drops will be good so we can also keep track of how much "alloy" or "rubedo" collected that run instead of manually counting it from foundry b4 and after run

Seconding this, I don't know why they slide around so much or fly all over the place. It'd also be nice if the game showed an item log or something as far as what dropped and what you picked up or...something. Sometimes it all picks up and there's ammo drops there and the text on the bottom just says like "Pistol ammo full" "Pistol ammo full" "Plastids" "Pistol ammo full" and you know you picked up a blueprint but it doesn't really show up there. Figured it'd go under a topic that says "boss drops" though this is also a +1 to your OP.

i actually started to believe that the boss drops were bugged, because i did several jackal, golem and sargas ruk runs today and about half the time, i didn't get any drops at all, but it being a physics issue makes a lot more sense

More visual feedback on LOOT is a necessity. Can it be glowing, colored, named, on the map.. it's definitly a must have.

I think the easiest fix for this is to delay the "spawn" of loot until the boss stops moving in their death animation. Having the loot then spawn with the final map coordinates of the boss's corpse would make this problem almost disappear.

just did another run on eris boss....one of the bp orbs ( it being white ) fell behind one of the lamp lights ( also white light )...so couldnt really find it. We were determined to find it because one of my squadmate actually said he saw a white orb fly out of the boss...but none of us got it and tried real hard finding it. I didnt get a screenie because i took it straight like a mofo desperate fr the last bp piece @@ kinda regret. will take a screenie next time with comparison of where the boss died and where the loot fell

Before i begin, nope it isnt about the drop rate ( tho im also kinda discouraged by it).

Not sure if there already exists a topic like this as i tried searching n couldnt rly find an exact topic.

Yesterday i played a few games hunting bosses in Earth and Mars. I noticed a few things in my party. When the boss is on the verge of dying, USUALLY the whole party becomes confident and starts using their ults or skills or go leeroy jenkins melee style on them.

Upon the boss death we will actually see the drops fly out of the boss, be it mod, craft mat, or blueprint. However, depending on how the boss was killed, these "drops" actually fly all over the place, ranging from 1 floor above, 1 floor below, 60m away, hidden somewhere, or worse...in the void spaces of the rooms where falling in will reset your character.

I find these drops from bosses scatter wayyy too much. I dont mind the scatter for regular mobs. But for bosses with their not so high drop rates currently, it is a tad bit annoying to have this other matter that seem to be overlooked. That and also there is loot radar but it doesnt show these "rare drops" =(.

So here is just a topic hoping that some of you might reply and give feedback on what u think. For some im pretty sure they dont bother but it could be a hinderance in the future if left unfixed..imagine having that last piece of blueprint part...flying somewhere beyond your warframe's reach somehow like on top of a ceiling...

hunted yesterday with friend for bp drops...i swore i saw a white orb fly out!!! but my friend claimed no prolly js gorgon's muzzle flash...anyways this uncertainty isnt good since we farmed a while js to get a HINT of a bp drop ( we were farming fr trinity )...i really hope DE considers this!! i dont mind bodies flying all over d place but not drops plz....rly annoying

Good lord, this a million times. Making the different drops more noticeable would be great too. I still cant tell you what a blueprint looks like before I pick it up.

The way item pickups overlap as well is a bit of a pain too though. Like when you pick up credits, polymer bundles and morphics at once you need to wait for them to all slowly switch the text. Sometimes its easy to miss that you got a blueprint or something, and thats silly.

A thing they could do for this is have a picture of the mineral you recieved appear at the bottom in the same spot instead of just text, and in thec ase you grab multiple item types at once the pictures could line up side by side.

Seconded.

Though i'm fortunate enough to never have had lost a bp due to flying loot (mostly because i don't farm bosses much), I've had enough experience of watching normal loot from goons go flying everywhere, whether it be into a chasm and thus unrecoverable, or stumbling upon a mod nowhere near where i killed enemies. I can only imagine the despair of watching a bp after farming a boss 20 times go flying away into unrecovery.

Also i would love if resources were more noticeable. Mods are reasonably easy enough to spot, same for bps since they're a big white orb, but some resources are pretty hard to notice considering how small they are. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to give resources and other loot drops particle effects or a glow effect to make them more noticeable.

Please let a dev see this thread.

I fully agree with a change. Physics is all well and good, but NOT for drops. Someone on the 1st or 2nd page had the perfect idea to have boss drops float in mid air after the boss is killed. DO THIS. Who cares if it doesn't look "realistic", we want our hard earned items. There is truly no type of anguish, despair, and rage one can get that's like seeing what could be the final BP you've been looking for fly off and disappear into the sunset.
