[Forums] Heavy Forum Use/delays

I'd like to know if any of you have noticed the Forums being slower to load, frequently inaccessible, and/or taking longer to post threads and replies than usual.

It happens to me now and then, especially around hotfix time. I thought it may have to do with the high traffic when everyone comes to check the patchnotes but it occasionally happens at other times as well..

No, but I have noticed it goes down at 4pm every single day without fail. Probably some backup whatever.

Not much use unless we know your timezone.

Whatever it is takes place for me at 05:00GMT, 5 hours after the daily reset.

Aside from that there's the heavy load when updates/hotfixes come out, and the major load when its the day of a major update.

Can confirm this. Sometimes the forums are on extremely heavy load. You could compare this as DoS attack made by 40,000 steam players plus XB1 and PS4 players :D But also: mostly the forums work like a dream :)

 

Sometimes it returns to database error.

 

Some times it's just down.
