Cryopod and heavy weapons

I did an infestation defense mission today using the scindo and noticed an issue. When you're just running normally, you can't go over the cryopod. But when you use a charge attack, if you're standing against the cryopod, you'll move forward, and end up standing on top of the cryopod. Often, this causes the charge attack to miss entirely, while the enemys have no problems hitting you with their flabby tentacle arms.
