Low settings aren't really that Low.

Im just gonna say it before everyone else says "Get a new computer", My computer lags like hell on this game and I can't afford a new one, I play it everyday for hours but I get like 15 FPS at the best times.

I'm just wondering why they kept reflections on everything on the lowest settings, I have a feeling if you could disable the shineyness of the textures the game wouldnt lag for people with lower end computers like myself. I'm not sure if that would be a complete rework of everything but I think it would open up the field to more players if everyone could run it at a decent FPS.

I feel like I should be able to play with no lag, sometimes after a restart I get 20 FPS if im really lucky for a mission. I've done diskcleanups, I've tried Gamebooster, etc etc.

But here are my stats:

Processor: AMD Athon X2 Dual-core QL-65 (2 CPUs), ~2.1GHz

RAM Memory: 4 GB (4096MB)

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

Your CPU is a bit weak, you've got a decent amount of RAM, and how much memory does your video card? Is that an onboard? That might explain the poor performance.

2GB Video card and yes its an onboard. I'm certain its the reflections that eat my FPS though, some of the small rooms that dont have many reflections in them I go up to like 30 - 40 FPS.

That video card, with a fast cpu, can't even play DOOM 3 on high settings and get 30fps. DOOM 3 came out in 2004.

Sorry, I know you already said it, but you can't expect to play a game from 2013 (game's actually not out yet), and expect it to run, even on low, at 30fps on that old, old, machine.

Edit: Also, it's totally up to the dev to try, or not, to make it run better on even your forsaken rig, but if they decide not to, it's probably due to having some form of artistic standards. Not ever artist wants their work to look like mud, just so it can run for someone who has a computer that would be considered mediocre a decade ago.

I play DayZ, WarZ, RaiderZ just fine, and like I said sometimes this game just fine. How does that even make sense?

I'm sorry my computer costed as much as your "master" rank, you think I don't cry myself to sleep everynight wishing I could play better games? :'/

Your computer only cost $100? Well congrats. Sincerely, if you got that computer for $100, well done!

But the graphical quality here is way above the "Z" games you just mentioned. The art style they've gone for in Warframe is a lot of detail on relatively smooth shapes (muscular bodies, technology). If the game stripped out the stuff that makes it run poorly, like higher res textures, lowering the poly count, and maybe draw distance, it not only would look terrible but might change how the game feels (draw distance being important I've found).

But if you're getting some super fancy reflections, yeah that should be an option to turn off. That's an unnecessary drain.

I'm sorry, but I laughed a bit at that.

You can't always use the relative age of a game to gauge how well it will play, either. It really depends on how optimized it is. For instance, the source engine is really well optimized, so you can run TF2 on a toaster, if you wanted to.

I recommend you save up for a new computer.

If it's onboard it usually doesn't have its own memory, it's nicking that memory from your RAM. You definitely need a dedicated card at least. I use a Radeon 6850, it's not great but for the 60 dollars I paid it is well worth the cost. Next you should look at your CPU, try to find something in the 3+ghz range, preferably quad core.

Your computer is a bargain for what you paid for, but Warframe is out of its range unfortunately.
