Shadow Debt Event Feedback

First stage: Find information about the acolytes (2 Spy missions, 2 Mobile Defence missions)

Rewards: Catalyst, Sygil

 

Low level missions: Easy steps as an intro.

 

 

Second Stage: Hunt down the acolytes (wait for signal on a planet, then hunt them; once found by a player a global list is updated)

Rewards: Reactor, Badge

 

- Unfortunatelly it became a grind stage at first with people quitting (grinding for the desired mod and restarting) until update.

- Third part sites with better update on locations then in game menu;

- New players asking for taxis at the recruiting channel, a good way to open the star chart;

- One of the acolytes had to be reintroduced (apparently users request)

- It was actually fun to hunt down the acolytes, but sometimes you had to double check EVERY room before it appears.

 

Third Stage: Defend Alad V (10 waves)

Reward: Vulkar Wraith

 

- Nice "defend target" mission, with an end boss

- considering the health Alad V had, the mission would fail only if something terrible happened, making it easy as you should care only for the mobs and shadows actually.

 

 

Bonus Stage: Endurance mission - Defend Alad V

Reward: Acolyte Lacera Skin (15 waves stack)

 

First approach: 5 waves

- could be considered a mod farm (5 waves mission, especially with 4 ivaras on team - 4 mods from steal, + 1 drop + 1 rotation);

- Alad V had a wide ammount of health again, but his behavior tending to run to corners, right to enemies or away from the team made a pain to effectivelly defend;

- Hazzard could kill full health frames without amplifier mods

 

Second Approach: Endurance (long run)

- Alad V behavior unchanged;

- Hazzard Kills untill wave 15;

- Double Angst cry could kill the team if it had no healer or large area crowd controller;

- Waves above 20: Mania hunt - this one kept hiding on Spawn point, making you hunt him every wave;

- Frame damage ramping down by wave 60, making more than one buffer necessary;

- the advent of 5 shadows plus misery combat was challenging =D

- unfortunatelly the endurance was a patience test for good teams, as the challenge was the same every 5 waves (after a couple of hours my team decided to stop on wave 65)

 

 

Overal:

It was a good event, but a lot based on RNG (the drop chance for rare and uncommon mods had to be increased and some modifications to mods be shown only on the end of mission to prevent rage quitting) and grinding.

 

It was nicelly be linked to previous events community decisions (help Alad V), but the story have too many blank spaces (Stalker have disciples never mentioned hunting Alad V...)
