Microphone Connected To Headphones Does Not Transmit My Voice Anymore.

I was always able to plug in my beats headphones with the wire the has the microphone on it since I started playing the game about a year and a half ago. For the past few months it doesn't not transmit my voice at all. It work with all of my of the ps4 games (the platform I use) and I have been in the PlayStation settings and other game setting where it works perfectly fine. I feel that about maybe 4 patches or so again totally took that option away from me and I don't understand how to fix it. I scrounged the ingame options to no avail. I am using a pair of Beats Studio headphones with the wire that has a microphone. How were other sets of headphones do not pick up my voice either on their. I just find it odd it used to works, I tweaked no setting and now it does not, I have seen many others on forums with the exact problem.
