Infested

My favorite levels are the infestation based ones. It is so satisfying just to run through the level with my sword chopping hundreds of infested to mince meat without any large risk of failing the mission. Anyone else? The best part is with the Excalibur warframe and you use your first ability sliding through 6 or more and just the sound of them getting exploded and the plop of their halves hitting the ground. So rewarding!

Yeah it is. But when you realize that it takes about 15 hours (this is not my info, got it from another post) to lvl up a melee weapon it kinda gets tedious after a while.

The leveling times for weapons definitely needs to be lowered. Either that or reducing the entry cost to acquiring said weapons which I feel might be a better idea.

If more weapons exist, even more importantly, more viable weapons (for each rank) existed at a low cost or could be slightly easier to acquire then I think it would lead to overall happier players. If they want to keep how long it takes to level a weapon, that's fine but we'd need to see the costs reduced so newbies can better test out various types before settling on one.

It's no fun grinding through instances just to get a specific weapon only to find out that it just doesn't work for you.

Now I'm not saying that every rare item needs to be easily acquired but having more options than "Crappy Starting Rifle", "Crappy Starting Rifle" or "Burst Fire Starting Rifle" would be nice, maybe a weaker version of the Gorgon, or a Shotgun or Sniper Rifle, anything at all to give the earlier levels some variation beyond starting Warframe.

After a few hours of gameplay you'll realise that most weapons are very easy to get. But you ain't gonna get em all, this ain't pokemon, free players are restricted to 8 weapon slots and i don't think anyone is gona have more than 2-3 melee weapons without buying more. Just take it easy you'll get to the cool weapons :D

The infested missions are really fun but seem to be wayyyy easier than grineer or CORPUS. Infested just feels like easy mode, at the worst it gets annoying when you run into a bunch of ancients but you can usually just run past them if you need to. With the others it is harder to do because they will be shooting you the whole time but infested doesn't really have ranged at all so it is super easy to ignore them and run whenever. Melee weapons definitely need to get an XP boost IMO, they take super long to level up compared to ranged weapons and they don't even seem as useful most of the time. It sucks way harder to try and do Grineer or CORPUS missions while leveling a Scindo whereas it was a breeze with the Gorgon.
