For a Video Game Character the model's poligons are limited to around 10-15k. The detail comes from the definition of the normal maps. So to an extent I think the polycount is higher due to the loose bits they have. But I do not think this is more than the others. Look at Ivara or Monkeyking, no shortage of details there either.
