Heavy, High impact and difficult to control. How would this blade ever gain reputation among Tenno? Thus it is fashion of time. That all changes at some point and somebody takes grip from the handle of the blade that is heavy that it can send even heaviest of wielder's enemies in to airborne. Only lesson they learn. Do not fear the blade. Fear the wielder.

Stats:

Status chance: 100% (Can not cause bleed except on certain melee combos. Guaranteed knock back and knocked on the floor chance. Exception on boss class enemies but chance to stagger these is 35% exception Vay Hek in Terraframe. Chance of stagger is 10%)

Damage:

Impact: 65

Impale: 65

Slash: 20

Attack speed: 0.700 (Attack speed buffs can buff the weapon attack speed up to 1.10 no further this includes all attack speed mods)

Critical hit chance: 20%

Critical hit damage multiplier: 4.5x

Melee combos:

Basic combo; two attacks: Swing from right to left and chain attack is over head swing with guaranteed knock down on the floor chance on all enemies in the range of the blade.

Spin attack: Guaranteed to knock down all enemies in range of the blade.

Melee stance mod: Everlasting Champion

How to obtain: Defeat an ancient knight.

Quest: Heavy Duty, Heavy Blade

Visit an ancient tomb in Earth. (Danger: Melee only combat no abilities except those what heals the warframe without causing CC or damage on nearby enemies. Enemy: Extremely difficult. Abilities of Knight: Parry, blocking with medium shield he wields, armor increase slash damage, devastating melee combos and extremely well experienced also learns really quickly) Getting caught in to parry has a chance that you kill in the ending blow of combo depending on melee combo by the knight. Upon defeat knight releases a death scream as he falls on his knees and falls ground on face side. After the simulation ends in the tomb. The Ultra Great Sword has appeared on top of the coffin. Hologram of the knight appears before the coffin as the warframe approaches.

This picks up the blade and spins it once then presents the great blade to warframe. "Take it warrior. You have more than deserved it" voice says "It was a honor to fall to an equal or maybe better in battle. Let it echo in the battles you face as you strike upon your opponent with it" voice said. When warframe takes the blade "Thank you for granting me my final rest but do remember. My spirit will comeback to fight with you as somebody else" voice said and the hologram disappears. Having a position "I honor you" and bows.

Kill combo only triggered by landing a parry against the player. Knight holds the blade with both hands and impales the warframe from chest, raises the blade warframe with it and smashes the player's warframe head first on to ground. Player's operator would either shout from pain or scream [Spoilers] Because of transference. Although warframe gets up after blade is taken off. Counter counts how many times you have lost against the knight.

Devastation combos:

If player gets staggered right in front of the knight. Smashes the blade on warframe's chest forcing this to kneel down. Knight takes a light hold from warframe's shoulder with the shield arm. Then horizontal sweep to send the player's warframe to distance. This would cause operator say that it hurt more than usual. Damage dealt by combo: 50% of durability of warframe penetrates the armor.

If player gets send to airborne and doesn't recover quickly enough. Knight will continue with bringing the blade on the warframe as this hits the ground. Knight will pull up the blade as warframe attempts to get up and horizontal sweep to knock the player's warframe to distance. 30% of durability of warframe penetrates armor. Operator would release a cough.

If player gets staggered in blade's reach: Knight will take two handed grip from the blade and send the player to airborne if player doesn't recover quickly enough warframe before meeting the floor will get impaled by blade from waist. Knight will send the warframe off of the blade and player's operator would grunt from pain. 70% of durability of warframe penetrates armor.

Ancient Knight stats:

Health: 400

Armor: 300

Weaknesses and Resistances:

Slash: --

Impact:

Impale: +

Radiation: --

Corrosive:

Blast: - (If knight is blocking he gets staggered by the proc. While standing or rolling he gets knocked on the floor.

Gas: +

Toxic: + (cures toxic proc by eating something)

Shock: +

Heat: -- (rolls to extinguish the flames on him)

Cold: -

Viral: + (cures the proc by eating something)

Magnetic: ---

Attacks blocked with the shield will not cause damage but can cause toxic, corrosive, viral, gas, blast, heat, shock and cold to proc.

Blast has guaranteed chance to stagger the knight out of defensive position but do be wary. He might surprise you with quick recovery and parry your attempt of assault.

Corrosive: Reduces armor down to 200 no less.

Viral: Nothing different.

Toxic: Affects just like everybody.

Shock. Paralyzes the knight for 2 seconds.

Magnetic: No differences.

Heat: Causes Knight to panic and forced to evade your attacks. Extinguishes the flames by rolling once.

Cold: slows down the knight for 2 seconds.

Knight's health scales with player's warframe by 20%. Don't bring Inaros or you will be having a tough time.

Tips:

Constant assaults will result knight reacting accordingly parry you and end you.

Change your strategy commonly order to keep him guessing what you are going to do.

You can bait out the parry attempt somehow leaving him open for counter attack.

Knight can dodge your attacks by rolling and block your attacks. Try catching him middle of his roll.

Weapons such as Glaives when thrown Knight CAN parry and get you disarmed. So be ready to knight pressuring you away from your weapon.

Redeemer can be used to get the knight caught while rolling but deals significantly less damage than expected.

Bringing shield and blade weapon to fight can help a lot. If knight's attack gets blocked by your shield. He gets staggered and open for a counter strike. Remember even at this point he is vicious and can parry you or counter attack by rolling away and striking with his weapon.

Knight will every now and when attack to either bait you to punish this or make you keep your distance.

Remember you have unlimited tries to defeat the knight and don't feel bad from loosing to him. After all. He is an expert at his way of combat.

I am in sun covenant in both Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2. Because I like cooperating with people specially with those who needs the extra body, pair of legs, ears, eyes and hands.
