Why Do Some People Hate Valkyr

Why do people hate Valkyr's fourth ability so much. She revives Tenno easier, she never goes down in a fight and she's a cat :)

All she is missing is a prime version, with upgraded shields, more health and more armor.

Seems like someone had a bad experience with a Valkyr. Valkyrs are really good for a lot of stuff, like reviving and clearing out enemies.

I think the Valkyr hate comes from the way Hysteria is played. She has to go where the enemies are, which usually means stealing kills and blocking a lot of shots, preventing other people from doing anything. Kinda ruins teamwork. I also think people see her as a no-skill frame. I feel differently, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

People dont know how to really push her, sitting in hysteria on a hard mission is a sure fire way to get killed.

what i mean by this is that when they run out of energy and they will, they will get killed. (knows from experience)

major tip: stay out of hysteria and use other stuff, hysteria can and will backfire on you for using it a lot (use hysteria to regen health when low)

if you are thinking "oh she needs a nerf"

thats not happening, she is one of the dev's favorites

if you play valk a ton: learn to use other frames

A Valkyr with more shields is a less effective Valkyr. But, in all seriousness, Valkyr needs some balancing. I love Valkyr, she's actually my most used frame, but it feels way too easy to win when using her. I think that Hysteria would be more balanced if it just increased Valkyr's armor by 50%, and this value scaled with the Warframe's armor. So, Steel Fiber would bring this up to 105%, which would scale her armor to about 3000, a bit more with Armored Agility. It'd be comparable tanking to Chroma, so, near invincible, but more balanced than total invulnerability.

 Compaining about Overpowered is often more fun than playing. At least for some players. They do not realise that slaughtering carelesly hordes of enemies is WF game description.

About Valkyr:

Pros: She will not die, unless distruptor. Can revive buddy.

Cons: She will not do much else to protect objective. Melee.

Me: Rhino with tonkor is in most cases better.

Well if you want to go on the frontal attack with valkyr In defence against hordes of enemys or thin down the numbers if you defense and need a tank i see a use for valkyr And you can provide buffs cause i just started using valkyr for if i decide to solo a tower 4 mission in void. and people hating on valkyr just try her before you say what you think!

I love playing valkyr. She is by far my most played warframe and I rarly use her fourth just because i dont like her range when she is in hysteria. I would rather use War with the warcry buff just because the insane speed i can pull off with a giant 2h sword.Each swipe alone with tempo royal can already take out a good sized group untop of bezerk and warcry. But i just mainly use hysteria to regain health and take out things my sword cannot.

I "main" Valkyr & she's the first Frame my friend showed me, to get me hooked in the game, as I love playing melee & I even melee almost exclusively. From the experience I've got so far - my mindset is, to not use the 4th ability as a "crutch", problem-solver to everything. Because running Hysteria 24/7 is not going to make you a good player. Rely on your other abilities, and definitelly try other Frames too, to at least gain basic understanding of them; as that's half-the battle, when you're in a team. You need to know at least in basics, what others can and cannot do, and adjust your style to that.

For the same reason people hate exalted blade, rinho iron skin, loki invisibility.

 

They hate her because that ability is easy to maximise and is freaking usefull in every situation.
