Seriously? 5 health for every enemy dying within 10m? Desecrate is already MORE then that. Significantly more then that and easily so.

And that's saying something, because Desecrate is a crap heal. 

While I really like the idea of something that gives him an incentive to stand on the front line, the health bonus on death needs to be either percentual or it needs to be at least tripled.

I was hoping for something more direct like 5% of all damage goes through shields and armor to directly affect health of enemies within 10m. Is that too much to ask for?

As if you can't have 5~10 enemies to kill in a second, get enough "energy" for a desecrate, and then get more than you spent by desecrating the corpses.

5 is low but not bad. It's manageable without huge issue.

I use a despoil build and find this passive could be useful for it IF it scaled with range mods. I'm generally standing further back than 10m in those long survivals to avoid getting one shot (60min+). The idea behind it is good, just not the best execution.
