Vidsurfer555
Exilus Slot what is it really used for? Well from what i could see, they are mostly used for utility such as movement speed of the warframe DE should make some of the mods as exilus mods These mods are: augment mods immunity mods utility mods Here are some of the reasons In the late game [in later planets, sorties, T3 and T4 missions, and on some nodes with higher tiers (Earth: Orokin moon)]. these mods are basically not used. The the ones that is mostly used are the corrupted mods to boost the warframe's abilities Evidence of this is mods of the builds that i have seen only you health. shield, power, and augments With the advent of the new Star map as said by Steve in previous DEV streams environmental hazards are listed so it would be nice to to have an extra mod space for the immunity mods. The element procs of enemies have increased so it would be nice to have a counter for this. Evidence of this is when i was doing a grineer Sortie 3 survival mission with radiation hazard. The squad was basically wiped out by our own ash who had a radiation proc through bladestorm. Another event is a toxic ancient basically owning me with toxin procs With the augment mods in the the exilus slot you gain an extra mod space which will create more powerful builds. And would balance the mod usage. Plus if this happens there will be more farming involved for affinity Edited June 3, 2016 by NovusNova Removed "PSA" tag
Phatose
They've explicitly said "No" to augments. If anything, they need to de-exilus mods that aren't utility and have power range or strength. Edited June 3, 2016 by Phatose

That way, after using up all of your slots on power, or duration, or shield/health mods, you've still got a slot to spend on your quality of life. For example, Rush and Handspring are both great mods that I really like to use.

The amount of power range and power strength on the Drift mods is small enough that the (not crap) pure utility Exilus mods are still competitive for the Exilus slot. Power Drift's 15% power strength, for example, only really makes a significant difference for Molecular Prime (which stacks power strength additively instead of multiplicatively relative to the base value) and to push your power strength up to 100% (Overextended, Rank 8 Transient Fortitude, and Power Drift gives you a total +0% power strength) for builds where the distinction between 95% and 100% power strength is meaningful. Autongnosis
Generally: Cunning Drift / Power Drift for finetuning certain builds (IE MPrime 145% Strenght with Intensify+Power Drift not losing any Duration) Rush/Maglev for added mobility Handspring for melee characters or fragile frames that risk dying to knockdown cheese Most other mods are useless or really situational... All true. Some parts even truer than others.
djternan
I only ever use Power Drift, Cunning Drift, Rush, or Handspring. The rest aren't really worth using compared to those 4.
Enno69
Exilus is cool as it it. On Ivara I use Power drift to compensate for the negative strenght of my utility build and Rush for my spy build. It's fun.
(PSN)Tactless_Ninja
I would add bleedout mods to exilus. Who builds around being downed? I even took provoked off Inaros because it was just damn useless.
