Random invites passing despite being turned off

This has happened twice before last week, but several times this week alone.

My settings indicate that invites have been disabled (manually set to "none"), but invites from random people still arrive.

One thing these rogue invites have in common is that they were made by people I've recently had a private conversation with. Said people are not on my friend list, nor do we share a clan or alliance.

Tried replicating it by letting two fellow players send invites, but it couldn't be done. Tried switching between the different Invite settings, but no change could be achieved. At least not through testing.

There's definitely something wrong here, but I do not have the ability to isolate the issue. Would be great if it was looked into.
