Corpus shield/sapping ospreys: immune to status chance?

Today's sortie 3. I'm running 100% (actually 99% with multishot) status chance gas-build Daikyu. Shooting shield / sapping ospreys point-blank range multiple times.

Nothing. Nothing is happening. Not a single status proc has worked. No impact, puncture, slash or gas. Just none. Like my daikyu suddenly has 0% status chance. (perfectly worked on all other enemies though)

Since when this is a thing? Is this intentional? Please tell me this is not intentional.

Were you host? It could be a client-side latency issue that hasn't been fixed yet.

It's certainly not intentional, the only enemies that completely shut down certain weapon aspects are bosses; given the considerable numbers involved for them, most status procs would make those too easy to fight.

I've noticed that Ospreys seem to have a built in Rapid Resilience; I notice slash procs only hit them for about two ticks. Most likely a bug, but you never know.
