Movement Bugs since Lunaro

The changes to movement brought some bugs which have been overlooked so far. The most irritating one would be the now given inconsistency of double jumps, as seen here.

The first combo consisting of a slide into a normal jump into a double jump lets you stop mid-air on the latter while the second combo with an added roll between the two jumps does not. Double jumping after bullet jumps isn't affected either which is why I call it inconsistent and consider it a bug. This is not about the unintended momentum gain which was fixed but about the sudden loss of already existing momentum. A lot of the scepticism about said fix comes from this bug which harms the advertised fluidity of the overall movement system, as widely discussed here.

 

A few others are related to one another as they all happen while rolling, as accurately shown here.

Since the update, rolling prevents any actions (shooting, casting, etc.) to be performed immediately afterwards. In the same way, actions which were permitted during rolls before are now possible: you can fire any automatic or continuous weapon or charge a bow and keep on firing or holding the charge while rolling if you started the action beforehand. Alternate fire modes like shooting cubes with the Quanta can even be performed without any restrictions during rolls. Reloading can be started during the roll as well while cycling through abilities is now blocked.

 

I'm aware different issues should get separate threads but since the origin is most likely the same fix, I thought it would be best to tie them together.

Another thing to add to the list: one can actually slide while rolling which results in some very weird movement as you can slide in other directions than where the roll was headed (even the opposite one).

This fix seems to be fixed now. Yet, we're still not able to do anything immediately after rolling.
