  • Fieldron Sample, Mutagen Sample, and Detonite Ampules have been removed and are replaced by Fieldron, Mutagen Mass, and Detonite Injector at the price of 10 Platinum each.
  • Loki and Mag’s prices have been swapped to reflect their change in status as Starter Frames. Loki's cost will be 175 Platinum and Mag's cost will be 75 Platinum.

Fusion Core packs have been reviewed as well:

  • Gold Fusion Pack: costs 80 Platinum in exchange for 15 Fusion Cores. 14 Cores are Guaranteed to be R5 Rare, with a very small chance at a Legendary Core for the 15th.**

Additions:

  • We’re adding a 3 Forma pack for 35 Platinum.

So, everything in bold goes in the right direction. I was always wondering why we didn't have certain resources in the market and Loki/Mag were not swapped.

Also, 3 forma for 35 Plat sounds like a really good deal for when you don't have much time, don't have resources and want to get an item that needs 3 polarities for certain assured. So HECK YES.

Having a chance Legendary Core in the R5 pack sounds good, whatever small the chance may be, but I'm still internally debating the 80 Plat price though...

Thanks for the heads up Taylor :)

I can only hope "very small" is > 1%

Everything is good, except this:

" Gold Fusion Pack: costs 80 Platinum in exchange for 15 Fusion Cores. 14 Cores are Guaranteed to be R5 Rare, with a very small chance at a Legendary Core for the 15th.** "

Those, who play for free know, that these packs aren't a great value no matter how low it will cost, but there are people who pay for the platinum and if they see one of their friends getting a Legendary core, then they buy a pack, and another and so on and they get just gold cores they will be very frustrated and It potentially drive away people from the game. I highly advise you not to implement this feature, just stay with the 15 gold cores.

Any word on the Dev Workshop that was mentioned regarding the new Void System that's coming in Specters Of The Rail?

I don't see how it could drive people away.

Would you say the same about the Legendary Cores in the sortie drop tables? And even if they do get Leg Cores, we always have Hieracon... it's not like we aren't going to be able to rank mods without Leg Cores.

All the changes seem great, but i think credit and core prices need to drop a slight bit more to attract way more buyers.

Yeah, it sounds like that could run into the whole "pack opening" situation with an INCREDIBLY frustrating mindset, because i highly doubt the chance to get one will be much bigger than 5%

Sorties are free and RNG based, but these packs are payed with real money (in one way or another). Let me explain it further with an example: You and your friend buy 170 platinum for 9,99$ then you buy 2 gold fusion core pack each. You got 30 gold cores, but your friend got 29 gold cores and a Legendary core. You got different value for the same money. He can max out any mod without the need of credits instantly, while with 30 gold cores you can't max any r10 mod and you will need a lot of credits. You get frustrated because you payed the same amount but you are now behind your friend who did the same. Your friend can also sell the Legendary core for 250-300p (assuming it will be a very small chance to receiver those so it won't affect the market price much), so in the end he got more platinum for the same amount of money. This is bad in either way.

I appreciate the addition of a wish list.

There are a number of market items I would like to purchase but I have no intention of buying them until I get a log-in reward market coupon.

As someone who's currently building up a dojo pretty much by themselves, you have no idea how ecstatic I am about that change lol. Now it may actually be worth the plat for me!

This tickled me something fierce.

I've been a staunch supporter of Warframe since I began playing it on console. There was a time when I would have JUMPED at the opportunity to get my hands on a LC. However, coming to terms with how bad RNG is, there is absolutely no way in hell that I'd begin to pay 80p for a "very small chance". For those desperate enough, cores can be had for 2p, at most, in the Trade chat. Seems like this pack, even with it's "very small chance" is about 50p overpriced.

Or you can just farm them: 15+ cores can be farmed in a long Heiracon run.

Is there a way to wish list something without making it public? Some of my friends can be a little too generous and I'm not comfortable with them spending money on me.

I'd just want to use it as a bookmark.

I personally don't see the problem with it, that's like saying CS moves people away from the game because they can't get a knife to drop, or the lottery drives people away. They're both very profitable systems of gambling, but tbh I don't see anyone buying the core packs unless they're really new to the game/gambling for a return, or profit from trade chat.

If I know Leg Cores in this game, if you can get them in any fashion (Aside from being compensated for it from a removal of a yet to be released item) they are going to make the chances 1% or less, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

And that's just RNG for you, both of them always had the chance to get a core. Also, no-one was forcing them to pay for it, they BOTH payed and one was just lucky enough to get one. Sure, it can screw up the market prices and sure, he can make more plat then what he paid for, but by the time he even gets a Leg Core from it, he would've already driven himself into a plat hole for it.

I can't really see anyone selling Leg Cores after the update for more than 80p anyways...

Sounds pretty good in terms of the UI. I don't think I saw anything about showing us what we've already earned Mastery for, just what we own. Would that be something available to add?

I'm not sure what the idea is with the Cores and Credits if you're wanting to tempt people to purchase or if you want them to play. If you're wanting to tempt them, then I'd agree with others that the prices would need to be a bit lower.
