Loss transparency in Cephalons Simaris and Suda

Ever since the new lighting system was introduced I noticed a rather abrupt change for what I think is the worst in the appearances of Cephalons Suda and Simaris. Basically they are very solid and bright, with no hint of transparency or the holographic glass-like quality they used to have. In my opinion the old look was better, because it revealed more layers and details in the hologram that are now lost because of all the brightness.

I remember that Ordis had this same "matte", solid look as well after the update, but the dev team made him transparent in a subsequent hotfix. So maybe they agree that Cephalons look better when they are transparent?
