It got changed from primed vigor to a melee weapon.

am i the only one wondering why DE are giving the hammers all this love? fraggor prime (current king of crit melee) heliocor (it's pretty good on its own) synoid heliocor (obvious upgrade is obvious) sancti magistar (upgrade + synd proc) sybear (ehh) jat kittag got that scaling damage mod as well. and now this?

I don´t think this is a hammer, probably a heavy.

Indeed it is going to happen. All of the syndicate melee weapons have been confirmed and their models have been shown. Rakta Dark Dagger, Secura Lecta, Synoid Heliocor, Sancti Magistar, Telos Boltace, and Vaykor Sydon.
